Weird smell when I wear fake tan!?

Karly

When i'm not wearing fake tan, i don't have this problem. I get up every day and put deodorant on just like most people do.. But when i've got fake tan on (no matter what brand) it makes my armpits smell so weird! I remember once after I had a spray tan done, the woman told me not to put any deodorant on for the first few hours because it would make me smell weird and I thought to myself "how could it do that!" so I just ignored it but now I believe it! I'm not going to wake up and put no deodorant on so what do I do? Either don't put any on and stink, or put some on but still stink! It's a really weird smell?! i plaster myself in deodorant because I don't understand why it does it, the liquid one and spray, yet it doesn't change nothing! Anyone have any ideas and what can I do to stop it? I'm obsessed with fake tan as i'm naturally pale but i hate this smell so much.

Answer
According to the FDAâs good manufacturing processes and to the extent that these ingredients can be avoided, DHA may contain up to 3 parts per million of arsenic, 20 parts per million of lead, and 20 parts per million of iron.

Did you know that DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is allowed to contain arsenic, a poison, and lead a known carcinogen? Also the FDA does not police the manufacture of DHA and assay its contents. In other words batches of DHA that are produced by a host of refineries are exempt from certification.

SELF-TANNERS: "I've had many patients who think these products somehow offer UV protection or that they give them a 'base tan' so they won't burn," says Dr. Hale, a NYC M.D., dermatologist and vice chair of the Skin Cancer Foundation. "'If I have skin cancer, you'll just remove it, and I'll be OK'. But the color that self-tanners create on your skin is completely artificial. But a lot of young women use these products so they don't look pale when they go to the beach to tan." 86% of women surveyed who use self-tanners reported they'd also baked in the sun, and 36% admitted they'd also used tanning beds (a leading cause of melanoma!) at least once in the past year. Australian study confirms that sunless tanning likely did not reduce the amount of UV exposure women get.

TAN OBSESSION: "When I see a woman with bronzed skin, I look at it the way you might picture the inside of a smoker's lungs," says Dr. Ellen Marmur, MD., associate professor of dermatology @ the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in NYC.

Find another kind of obsession. Watch Mirror, Mirror when the evil queen played by Julia Roberts wanted to look as fair as the princess played by Lily Collins. I came from a vacay in Ireland, and many of the people there working in the profession (luxury hotels and banks, etc.) have beautiful white complexion!
This is what beautiful flawless skin looks like:

Google Liv Tyler. http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=liv+tyler&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
Or Google Catherine Zeta Jones - she's 42 with beautiful skin.

I've been protecting myself from the sun since age 9, but no matter, I got Discoid Lupus. Google that one. It was like someone punched my chin and it gave a purplish mark. It took 12 years for that to fade, so now I'm using a wide brim hat or umbrella for protection. Gene Simmons & Shannon both have been seen hold an umbrella during an event. They were invented before beauty products, for a reason. Google also Bullous Pemphegoid, photos, another skin disorder.

How the a Virgo man with Venus in Leo show their love?

luxury watches for big men image

Racquelle

Sun: virgo, moon: sagittarius, venus, mercury and mars in leo. So how do they show their love? I can't find the ascendant and houses as it requires exact birth timing info which I don't have.

Answer
"Virgo/Sagittarius
The combination of your Sun in Virgo and Moon in Sagittarius in many respects produces a dreamer that thinks in large broad terms; a Virgo who consistently belies the nature of the sign. You are capable of doing things that you probably disapprove of, for the sake of adventure, romance, and excitement. The puritan nature, commonly the hallmark of Virgo, may have to look the other way while you accumulate a few experiences. You are definitely not a classic Virgo possessing a narrow and focused mind. Many of the thoughts that run though your head bear little connection to everyday life. You are surprisingly philosophic and somewhat introspective, but instead of looking inside yourself, you seem to hold preconceived notions of what you are or would like to be. You can be so idealistic at times that it will be hard for anyone to meet your expectations. You can spend a good part of your life just daydreaming, though you do possess a practical analytical nature allowing you to be a very creative person when you decide you want to be. Your challenge will always be to control your restlessness and concentrate on things that have true relevancy. You can be very dramatic in all your actions, and you likely have a good talent for acting. Your use of body language and gestures can clearly communicate. You must be especially careful in this sometimes, and be aware of a tendency toward bluntness in dealing with other people. Often they will take a tactless comment much more personally that you intended it. Human sensitivities are something that you will have some difficulty understanding." http://astrology-numerology.com/sun-moon6.html#Sagittarius

you can always post a chart without TOB just use 12noon. in a man's chart look at moon & venus

Now venus in leo looks for 'trophy bridge' but it ALL depends on how venus and moon are mathamatically aspectedd. IF for example moon were hard aspect pluto is would be demanding, controlling, manipulative, jealous, possessive. If moon or venus where hard aspect to Saturn,it may never express or show these qualities. If aligned with neptune it may overidealise wear rose tinted glasses and be 'disillusioned'

Venus in LEO
[Ardent, fixed affections. Lovers of life. Like lavish parties and wish to be admired and appreciated. Vivid colour sense. Fond of children. Born romantics. You are warm hearted. Very strong loyalties to those you love. Apt to show off your partner and put them on a pedestal]

Colourful and vivacious, these people are drawn to the social whirl and relationships become a performance. Their egotism can be attractive, but relationships may run into difficulty if they ignore other people`s feelings.

The fiery, passionate emotion of Leo is expressed to the loved one, and the subject will want to be proud of the partner. Great encouragement will be given to the development of his or her potential, but a tendency to be bossy must be watched. Here is big heartedness, generosity of spirit and an enjoyment of all aspects of life. The sex life is usually exuberant and must be fulfilled. Loyalty and faithfulness are also usual. An enjoyment of quality and luxury will be shared with loved ones; appreciation of the arts, and even creative potential, will also be present.

A tendency towards showiness and a sense of drama may need controlling. This placing encourages a desire to earn a lot of money, principally to add to the richness and enjoyment of life. However, the sense of owning a part of large companies through shares gives considerable satisfaction. Here is a faithful friend whose enthusiasm and optimism are infectious.

Now although you are asking about this male, what you are really asking about is synastry, where we compare two charts and this is quite complex and would need to see a syn bi wheel from astro.com

How are instant ramen noodles manufactured?

Ali

The most detailed answer gets ten points!
I remember my cousin saying something about them getting fried twice... can someone tell me or attach a link of the basic steps in the manufacturing process?

Answer
Instant noodles are dried or precooked noodles and are often sold with packets of flavoring including seasoning oil. Dried noodles are usually eaten after being cooked or soaked in boiling water for 2 to 5 minutes, while precooked noodles can be reheated or eaten straight from the packet. Instant noodles were invented by Momofuku AndÅ of Nissin Foods, Japan.

Nissin Foods still brings in 300 billion yen ($2.7 billion U.S.) a year with their original "Top Ramen" noodles. Add all the competing ramen clones made in Japan, Korea, Europe, the U.S., China, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia and you have an estimated annual world market of $10 billion U.S. Pretty good for a product with a wholesale price of twelve and a half cents.

Instant ramen wasn't a big hit right away. In fact when it was first introduced in Japan, it was considered a luxury item, six times more expensive than the homemade noodles available in Japanese grocery stores. Wouldn't you hate to be the guy who said, "This will never sell"? Momofuku's ramen arrived on the east coast of the U.S. in 1972 as "Oodles of Noodles." The next year came "Nissin Cup Noodles" in the convenient styrofoam cup, and soon hundreds of knock-offs.

The Chinese were eating noodles almost two thousand years ago. Some time later they were imported by the Japanese along with Buddhism and a few other handy ideas. "Ramen" is the Japanese pronunciation of the Chinese characters lo mein, which means "boiled noodles." Ramen was popularized in Japan by a 17th century samurai named Mito Komon. You can see Mito's actual ramen bowl and a reproduction of his favorite meal in the Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum in Osaka, Japan. The museum that attracts 1500 visitors a day--more than Japan's national art museum. At this three-story museum and theme park (leave it to the Japanese) you will also see a reproduction of Momofuku's first ramen laboratory with original machine and tools, an assortment of ramen bowls and utensils, and a row of shops each selling a different ramen specialty. You can watch ramen being made and even make it yourself with a little handcranked machine. Here's more info on Momofuku Ando and his museum, and a picture of visitors making ramen

Some people think that each package of ramen contains one incredibly long noodle curled and coiled into a solid block. Not so, according to The Book of Ramen: Low Cost Gourmet Meals Using Instant Ramen Noodles by Ron Konzak (Turtleback Books). A man of scientific bent, Ron selected a package of ramen noodles, boiled it and carefully took it apart. "I found that the package contained eighty strands of curly noodles 5/64" (2 mm) diameter that, when straightened out, measured approximately 16" (40 cm.) in length. This would indicate that the noodle dough was extruded through eighty nipples into continuous rows, and cut into uniform lengths. The eighty curly noodles, cut to length, were then folded over once before being dropped into a mold, lightly fried, dried, and packaged with a flavor packet insert. Each package, when boiled, stretched out and laid end to end contains about 100 linear feet of noodles." Good work, Ron! This book also contains ramen trivia and a number of creative recipes for ramen, if you ever get tired of using the little flavor packet.

Ramen noodles unfortunately are not very good for you. Each package contains about 1560 mg of sodium. To remove the water and form them into blocks, they are deep fried in palm oil which is about the most saturated fat there is. Look in your local Asian food store, though, and you may find some that are baked or freeze dried without the oil. Check the ingredients--about 720 different varieties/flavors of ramen are available. For what it's worth, the average Japanese eats about 45 packages a year and, other than sumo wrestlers, ain't too many of them chubby.

United States

In the United States, instant noodles were first available by Nissin Foods in 1971 and were marketed as "Oodles of Noodles." In 1972, Nissin Foods introduced "Nissin Cup Noodles" in a styrofoam cup, which led to an upsurge in popularity. Soon after, many other competing companies were offering similar instant noodle products.

Today, in the U.S., the instant noodle product is commonly known as ramen, after the Japanese dish on which it is based, and it comes in a variety of mostly meat-based flavors. Common flavors in the United States include chicken, pork, beef, mushroom, shrimp, roast beef, roast chicken, chili, chili lime, vegetable, and "oriental" (soy sauce flavored). Other flavors, including shoyu, miso, and kimchi, are also available at supermarkets and convenience stores. The three major brands are Nissin Top Ramen, Maruchan Ramen, and Sapporo Ichiban. Thailand's "Mama" brand is also quite common in the United States. Ramen noodles are extremely popular among college students, due to their low cost and ease of preparation.

Ladies and gentlemen: does this prove that the school system is broken?

Seeker Of

I need opinions and facts from guys and girls. Is the way the school system have people learn, broken?

Example. I am a professional working with a particular computer program. I'm one of the top guys in the feild with it. I recently had the luxury of watching students learn the same program at a college.

Here's the problem. the teachers at the school test students 90% on mulitple choice tests on the program. So instead of hands on learning, they have to memorize where commands are, and what definitions of the commands are, etc. Most of the students feel that the quizzes and tests teach them nothing. Many feel they get very little out of the class. Many feel they should be more hands on with learing the tools of the program.

Here's whats interesting. If I had to take that class, I would most likely fail every single test because I don't know what the commands are off the top of my head, and I don't know much about the words and definitions discribing the commands. But, give me an assignement to do in the programs and I will use all of those commands perfectly, I will know where they are located and what each one is for. I've been using the program for years.

The belief in school teaching is, ' if they pass the test, they then have the knowledge and are smart for it. If the fail the tests, that means they learned nothing'. But in actuality, many poeple who past the tests can't really use the programs professionally. And I would fail the test, but I'm a pro at using the program.

Doesn't that mean that if a school only puts importance on written tests rather than hands on actualy work, that they're system of learning is broken?

Thoughts from both guys and girls perspectives.
wendy g - Yeah it just bothers me that this kind of thing is accpetable at all. If you feel this doesn't prove that the school system is broken, I think it at the very least, proves that this teaching style is broken and does't work since passing or failing those tests don't really aid in truly learning anything.

Answer
Is it broken? Who's to say it ever worked--look at the sh*t we're in. The best and the brightest put us here. Education means d*ck in America--it's all about 1) having the balls and pulling the trigger, and 2) knowing how to adjust the accounting during the 90% of the time your strategy fails.

College is nothing more than big business now, at least in America. Some of it (state schools) may even be non-profit, but that doesn't mean the countless people running those places aren't profiting. The government wants you to go to college for 3 primary reasons 1) the government doesn't have enough room on its payroll to support everyone, 2) the private educational institutions (and their lobbyists) love the marginal revenue that comes from the annual plethora of first year dropouts (i.e. those hopeless, brainless souls convinced by popular media that college is a necessity in life), and 3) college grads are good for the economy b/c they will a) earn more over their lifetimes and thus spend just as much or even more with good credit and b) won't likely become a burden on the government via socialized services or crime.

Bottomline, higher education is a product and there's plenty of competition. You get what you pay for, and if you're dissatisfied, go somewhere else--I'm sure your money's good there.

I have a obsessive obsession with America, help me?

rachel s

ever since I was in school,Ive always wanted the american life,

the school,uni,the houses,the luxury lifstyle.

I want to live the american life so badly!!! I think about it everyday,Im in my 20's so its not a teenage phase.I only watch us tv,I love programmes like the O.C,Gilmore girls, the hills, friends, scrubs

is it what it's cracked up to be?

Answer
No, I've worked for 12 months the USA and the US isn't all what it's cracked up to be. Or is like in there movies and TV shows, believe me it's totally the opposite.

No one there even looks, dresses or acts anything like the actors you see on there TV shows. The schools, houses, clubs etc are all just film sets. Most all of the outdoor and location filming is all done in Canada.

As for luxury lifestyle, the wages they pay in the USA are disgustingly low compared to many other countries. They are under a third of what they pay in mine and in many countries. Women working in the USA get paid even less than this.

I make over 250k plus a year working in Australia, so you couldn't even imagine. How totally shocked I was after being head hunted and offered a 12 month contract job in the US. When I received my first pay check, it was a absolute joke.

Even if your a semi or professional trade skilled person you need to work two jobs, to make a decent weekly wage. I earned more an hour, when I was a first year apprentice in the skilled professional industry I work in. So I truly felt financially poor the whole time working there, with having a mortgage, being paid under a third of my yearly income.

Also there are no employment protection laws or unions, nor equal employment opportunity or equal work place condition laws in the United States. Most people in the US live pay check to pay check, tips and commission, and/or on government assistance and food stamps.

Pray you never get sick or injured, until your health insurance waiting period kicks in, and read the fine print.

It cost me almost two grand to be treated at a hospital when I sprained my wrist.. Finding the medical insurance I was paying didn't cover injuries like this. I was told by the triage nurse if I didn't have the money up front, I wouldn't be treated at the hospital or even given a pain killer, for the pain. On the bill, I was charged A$80 just for one Panadine forte, I had while waiting to be seen.

As for schools, most Americans choose to have there children, home schooled. Because most state schools are under funded, run down and have police and security guards patrol, bag and metal search students.

The educational curriculum, taught in American state schools is very low. What they teach US students in the fifth grade, is what is taught in the second grade in all state schools in mine and many country's.

If you can handle, being openly discriminated, the gun crime, being mugged, bashed or robbed, police yelling profanity pointing guns at you, bad fashion, watching FCC modified television and nothing open on Sundays.

Also being able to find two jobs, affordable accommodation, so you can eat and pay monthly utility, phone, cable, net and medical insurance coverage, from a low paying wage. Which over three and a half million, middle class skilled Americans living in tent cities all across the USA or in there cars can't even find.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVwG01-bogE

All I pretty much did was work 80 -90 hours a week, just to cover utility bills, gas to get to and from work and live in a decent apartment in a low crime area, nothing much else.

Give it a go, I suppose, it depends on the person or which country they come from, if they would like or consider living there.

Im a little new in the world of watches and im was wondering how can a teen start his own watch collection.my father say to star small and then passing the year have great watches like rolex and omegas and other kinds.
its this a way to start

Answer
I own over 50 watches now that were made 1893 to recently. You need to study watches, so you know the brands and thus can recognize good deals when you encounter them. I look at "International Watch", "Chronos", "Watch Time", etc. magazines at newsstands and often buy them. I also have some watch almanacs, e.g. "Wristwatch Annual", 1999 to 2011. There are some books you should add to your collection, if you're serious about collecting watches. Look at libraries and bookstores to see what is available in your location. I buy some Japanese, French and German watch mags, for I speak several languages. Look at pawn shops, flea markets, garage sales, estate sales, auctions, etc. as I do all over the country. I've written five basic books about watches with several updated editions of each book. Now, I'm working on the fifth edition of "THE COSTLIEST WATCH BRANDS" for 2012. I finished earlier editions in 1996, 1999, 2002 and 2007. In the third edition, the costliest brands were 1. Breguet, 2. Patek Philippe, 3. Vacheron Constantin. Rolex has placed 18th, 24th, 41at and now 48th for 2012. Omega is a bit cheaper than Rolex. Both brands are what I call lower level luxury brands. Today I'm wearing a Vacheron Constantin "Les Historiques, Ellipse" that cost $10,290 in 1994. In 2011, it would cost $29,300 if it was still made. A couple of years ago, a comparable Rolex "Cellini" cost $8200. Thus, my VC is about 3.5 times costlier than a Rolex of the same type. Yesterday, I wore a Cartier "Santos Dumont" that costs $14,450 in 2011 or about 1.8 times more than a similar Rolex. Rolex is over-rated. It spends $47 million a year on advertising in the USA, so everyone had heard of it. There are much better brands. My book tells about that.
At a little hole in the wall store in the wino area of San Francisco (on Market between 6th and 7th Sts.), I saw a Jaeger-LeCoultre 1950s "Memovox". I had just looked at some on Sutter St. that cost $2500-$3000. It was in better shape. I asked the price and almost drooled when the man told me $200. I tried to make it seem he was besting me. I bought it and took it to Shapur the JLC dealer in SF to order a leather strap with buckle that cost $250 in 1996- more than the watch. Now, a new watch like it costs $9600, and I have $450 in it. You should study as I have, so that you can recognize such great deals as this one. I can tell about others too.

how much do brick houses in brazil usually sell for?

Almost 90% of houses in Brazil are brick houses. Brick houses are not cheap. At least, not as cheap as wood houses like people have in USA.

I've seen paintball on TV, it looks fun. I've play and love many military games. A form military brat; but was too young to go the the annual paint wars; sounded fun. I wanna try it! I think I've found a sport field, but what are some things I need to know before I go with a couple of friends.

For example:

Approx. how much will it cost to rent the proper equipment? I want the works but not the luxury of such.

If I wanted to buy my own equipment, what should I buy first? Gun? Paintballs? Safety Gear?

Will I be sore by the time I come home from a all day 'paint war'?

How fit do you need to be to fully enjoy yourself? (bringing someone with asthma)

Just give me tips, lol. ALL is appreciated!

Answer
RENTING:
If you are renting then, check with the field to find out how much you'll need.
BUYING:
If you are going to do woodsball which is paintball in the woods I suggest a Tippmann A-5 or a Tippmann 98 Custom, but if you are doing speedball which is what you see on TV I suggest you play some of both speedball and woodsball with rentals and ask around the field on what they think you should do, and also ask if you could try out there guns.
SORENESS:
They only pain you will have is right after you get hit, which the pain goes away I'd say maybe 10-20 seconds after you get shot. Your adrenaline will be going to that absorbs almost all the pain.
FITNESS:
You don't have to be fit at all, a guy at a place where I play looked like he weighed 400 pounds and did fine. But if your friend have asthma, make sure he brings his inhaler just in case, but he should be perfectly fine. Trust me on this, you will really enjoy yourself no matter what.
TIPS:
Be really nice to the guys at the field and between rounds, ask guys for some advice, also make sure you have plenty on cover, but most of all, DON'T BE AFRAIND TO SHOOT!!! Don't get tunnel vision which I will explain what that is. Tunnel vision is when lets say there is a guy 60 yards away from you, and you only watch him, THAT IS A NO-NO! Make sure you look around and if your confused and there is a guy close, call over to him and ask him what you should do. Be respectful to the field owners and your fellow paintballers and you should be fine!

HOPE THAT HELPS!

All of these magazines are targeted at an affluent audience and only advertise expensive products. If you're looking to market a product towards the wealthy, check out their websites - they have a lot of detail on what's in the magazine itself.

Hope this helped. Good luck.

lyrics if i buy you a drink and you drink it up?

Q. with jermaine dupre

Answer
Here ya go...

[JD talking to R.O.C.]

[JD]
I'm feelin' that 2x, is you wit' me?
I'm the type you see at the bar, fresh, buyin' it up
And every girl I talk to, yeah I'm tryin' to cut
I tell'em all I'm Chi Chi and it's nice to meet ya
Real quick, I tell how she got all the right features
The jams come on and the glasses get refilled
We dance and watch the relations build
Now I'm all up in her ear and she listenin'
At the same time, watchin' how a nigga glistenin'
BLING! BLING! I'm thinkin' it's bout time to go
Get the B out of valet and start the late night show
Niggas hate, I know but I don't stop I shine
I'm in the club every week, same place, same time
Same thing on the mind, PARTY! PARTY!
So the hell with all that, we tryin' to find somebody
The right kind 'fore the lights come off
Shit, I'm tryin' to take sumpin' home

[Chorus]
Now if I buy you a drink and you drink it up
Then, uh, you goin' home with me (and all my niggas say)
And if you talkin' at a party and we talk too much
Then, uh, we goin' home with me
Now if you came with a friend that don't wanna do my man
Then you need to give her your keys
Tell her to call you tomorrow or give you a beep
Cause tonight, you going home with me, ya heard?

[JD]
Now, is it because my name's Jermaine? no
It's all about how I kick my game, you know?
I just flow with it, spend a little dough with it
Entertain, before you know, I'm in your brain doing my thang
Tellin' you how good you smell
Send you up for a drop top cruise through the A-T-L
Now when they tipsy, it's risky, you don't know what you facin'
Fuck around and end up like Anthony Mason
So I let'em know a few things before we leave
Like, "it's true, I tapes damn near everything"
So don't even think about lyin', baby
Or try baby, to set me up for rape cause it's all on tape
Where you said put the cake
How you fed me the grapes
What I did with the ice that made you shake, shake
Now when the night's over and the girl is gone
I'm back up in the club singin' the same damn song

[Chorus]

Now, walk in, I'm the grown man that you figure to trick
But I'm feelin' your dress, girl and lovin' your hips
But I'm buggin' off this, "Why you stuck on the wrist?"
Golddigger, huh, mommy? Oh, you ain't that bitch?
Ain't that some shit? Suddenly, you hugs and kisses
Gotta be the dough you holdin' so obvious wit' it
I get G's to flash, T.V.'s in the dash
See Sinbad, watchin' Vibe, ladies clockin' to ride
Luxury flows, lengerie hoes, R.O.C. hit'em mo' than Jose Conseco
Uh, RBI's, orange top fly, the brown skin, slim
The nice braids, brown eyes
R.O.C.'s stay pimpin' from Jersey to Richmond
Y'all playas waitin' to ball like 6th men
I'm done with the game, point spread by a hundred
Speakin' of hundreds, five's is a nice way to slide it, let's ride

[Chorus]

or its just a slicky way to get u to buy and then u discover oops its all the same..

Answer
It depends..Usually in the luxury shops, they raise up so much the price before the sales, and then they base it a little bit, so it is as the initial price...
Second, you never know the quality of the stock..Usuallty for the products''you pay 2 you get 3'' we have to do with low quality products, or with an expiring date very closed to the day we buy..
Watch all the offers well, and next time take a woman with you..They deal better in these things...

My husband and I disagree on who to watch our baby...help!?

Cecilia

My husband and I have many disagreement, of many things. I want to go back to work, but he demands that his mom to watch my 7 months old daughter too. I do not feel comfortable with his mom watching my baby. I would strongly love to leave my baby with my mom. But he want to make an agreement that his mom should watch her too. How can I make my husband understand that I only want to leave my baby at one place instead of going back in forth. My husband tells me that its his baby too, and that he has the right to deside who to watch our 7 month old. He don't want to leave her at a daycare. So, what should I do...
At my husbands mothers house, is a very dirty environment. His dad has his mechanic company there at their house. I mean there are tools and lots of dirty dogs that has fleas. they also keep them in the house. My mom has a clean environment house. Has no man to brag to her to make him food. On the other hand when my father in law snaps his fingers to my mother in law. she must obey. So how can my mother in law care for my child when their are dogs with fleas, lots of tools everywhere, and they have grandchildrens that has lice. I mean come on. I'm not trying to take her away from her grandmother. I'm just looking for the best interest for my daughter. My mom has no man to care for. She can watch 100%. She has no dog in or outside. neither does she has kids with lice. by all means my son does not have lice. THE FACT IS THAT MY HUSBAND FAMILY ARE LAZY AND NASTY!

Answer
From the sounds of it, your husband could have come and asked almost the exact same question: "How can I make my wife understand that I only want to leave the baby at one place rather than going back and forth...and I want that person to be my mom." Your husband is right...it IS his baby, too.

So, what you two need to decide "together" is not what either of you want...but what is best for the baby. I think many would agree that a more stable environment would be better...that regardless of where the baby stays, that she not move around more than necessary, and one caregiver would be ideal. Others though, would agree that it is better to have the lil' one get used to more than one caregiver, in case one cannot be present at all times, and so that she is more used to spending time with other people as well.

You two need to discuss whether BOTH households, your mother and his, are clean and stable. You are BOTH going to have to put aside some piece of how you'd like the lil' one to be raised...because you will both have different ideals about that. You, most obviously trust your mother the most to make the best decisions...UNDERSTAND that he likely trusts HIS mom the most to make those decisions.

You two grew up differently, and you parent differently. This is GOOD for your baby. There's not a "random" reason that people say it is best to have both parents present in a child's life. It's not about having two people present...it is about the fact that mothers and fathers have different parenthood styles, and that both are desired when it comes to raising a child. Do not discount your husband's parenting style, unless it is abusive or objectively (meaning that any reasonable person would agree) neglectful for your child. Just as your points are valid, he has valid points as well.

Also, do not discount his mother. Even if you don't like her, or doubt her ability to care for your child, remember that she RAISED the man who you chose to marry. There is value in that, unless he is a horrible man, and you married due to self confidence issues within yourself that allowed you to choose a horrible partner. It is likely, that while he has complaints about his mother, as you may have about your own (even if you have to dig), that he sees her as a very competent caretaker for his daughter. He is likely hurt by your insinuation that she would not make a responsible sitter...or that she should not share this burden of caretaking with your own mother, during the time you two have to spend away from your child.

That said, many women would feel very grateful, to not have to hire a sitter, and to have two so willing grandparents to pitch in and help out in this situation while you two set off on your journey together as parents...which can be quite costly for parents who do not have this luxury.

Maybe you just need to change the way you are looking at this...to see that this is not such a bad thing. You guys, including your daughter who I've little doubt everyone just ADORES, are very, very lucky people.

Best wishes to all of you.

Are you supposed to negotiate when buying luxury brand jewelry?

luxury watches for couples image
Q. For example, I've bought a few pieces from Tiffany and the first time I went, I asked if they negotiate and they said no. Now, obviously they could just be lying, but I believed them. I've also bought a Cartier watch and didn't negotiate the price then either. I am planning on buying a Rolex watch and was just wondering if I'm supposed to negotiate for it or not.

Answer
Of course you should. I walked past a jewelry store a couple of years ago and saw a ring that looked very attractive. I thought that my wife would love it, they wanted just under 2K for it. I walked in with my daughter and asked what they could do on the price, they knocked $600.00 off the asking price. My wife loved the ring and I save $600.00 . With the economy in the tank it is a smart consumer who would ask "what can you do for me". Whats the worst they can say is no, and you move on to the next store.

What is the difference between low-cost digital projectors and expensive ones?

2kool4u

I mean in terms of picture quality, reliability etc. I want to get a projector to watch DVDs at home but I don't wanna get a useless one or else an expensive one that gives me stuff I don't really need. Thanks.

Answer
What's the difference between a budget and luxury car? Both will take you where you want to go.

Many things go into a digital projector. Like cars the differences can be subtle.

Better projectors will use better components -- better optics, better video processors, better LCD or DLP panels/chips, etc. There will be better thought out design resulting in superior cooling, quieter fans, higher contrast ratio, less light leakage, more user friendly menu structure, etc. A third difference is in extra features, like zoom lens range, horizontal and/or vertical offset adjustment, connectivity options.

But -- as with cars -- more expensive doesn't necessarily give better dependability or performance.

The cost of projectors -- particularly 1080p models -- has decreased greatly in the last couple of years (See the link for a comment on this). A 1080p projector can be purchased for under $2000, even less than some 720p projectors.

There are compromises on the lower priced models within a resolution class ... not quite as good sharpness, not quite the same contrast ratio, a bit less capable video processing, etc. ... but most still represent great value for the money.

If I were buying today I'd be looking at 1080p projectors simply because projectors are the only HDTV capable device where 1080p is ALWAYS a benefit (See Link 2 for why). And the price differential between a 720p and 1080p model has dropped to $1000 or less. If 1080p is still too rich for you, the 720p category has some great choices too (I have a 720p model and am not rushing to replace it any time soon).

That said, there are differences between the projectors in each resolution class (the only fair way to differentiat). The most obvious is in the technical basis for the projector -- LCD, DLP, LCoS -- and in the degree of mounting flexibility (zoom lens range, offset capability).

Past that I highly recommend reading detailed reviews .. particulalry comparative reviews where differences between models are specifically identified ... at the two sites at the links below (3rd and 4th link)

Hope this helps.

What type of designer watch do you think is best for men?

I am looking for a new watch. What brands are the most in style for late 20's early 30's men?

1. Tag Heuer
2. Rolex
3. Cartier
4. Movado
5. Oris

Feel free to add something you like that is not on the list.

Answer
It makes no difference. I wear a 1996 Rolex Submariner because it marks the date I graduated collage and escaped poverty. For sake of fashion it makes no difference if you wear a $100 Invicta. Few will know the difference. I own a few Invica models. Often they are mistaken for a Rolex.

Most of the watches you mentioned are NOT designer watches. A designer watch is sold under the name of the designer. Cartier is a designer watch. There is no person named Rolex or Tag.

Just because a watch is a designer watch that does not make it expensive or high quality. Kennith Cole is a designer watch. You can get one at Wal-Mart for about $100. Most designer brands are not high end Swiss watches, like you mention above.

I want to lose some weight and get healthy skin?

Melz

I want to lose 10 lbs, but more then that I just want my tummy to look flat and pretty. As for my skin I try everything ugggh... I need some easy way to help my skin man.

Answer
Hello '')
To lose 10lbs will be easy just follow a healthy diet & exercise plan and you will lose it in a month. These should help. Search these on youtube. Yahoo won't let me post them. Sorry :

8 Minute Abs.
8 Minute Legs.
8 Minute Buns.
8 Minute Arms.
8 Minute Stretch.

Here are some tips for beautiful skin :

* Don't go to bed with makeup on. Makeup left on overnight seeps into your pores, clogs them, and congests your skin. Make sure that you wash your face twice at the end of the day. Once to get the makeup off. A second time to wash the skin itself.

* Exfoliate daily. After washing your face at night, be sure to exfoliate. Use a delicate scrub. If you don't have one on hand, a tablespoon of sugar or oatmeal will work just fine.

* Use facial masks regularly. If possible, everyday is ideal. Again, if you don't have one on hand, make your own. Mashed banana or avocado is good. Plain yogurt also works well.

* Keep a treatment and moisturizer on your face, day or night. Put your skin first. After you wash it at night, put on some kind of skin treatment, whether it's alpha hydroxy acids, vitamin A or C, or any kind of special cocktail treatment. Let that sink in, then put a moisturizer over that. In the morning, do the same.

* Don't use the cheapest or most expensive cosmetics. Mom tells me that moderately priced cosmetics are the best. They get the job done, and the ingredients are usually pretty good. You have to keep trying various brands until you find something that works well for you.

* Hydrate your face throughout the day. Whether it's a commercial product, or one you make yourself (fill a spray bottle with distilled water, add a few drops of chamomile or rose essential oil, shake it gently before each use, and spray it on) hydrate your face, even over makeup, frequently throughout the day.

* Treat your face gently. Never pull, tug, or scrub your facial skin. Be very gentle when you clean it, moisturize it or makeup on it. This will lessen the chance that you'll damage your skin and get wrinkles.

* Keep your face covered when you're in the sun. As beautiful as she is, my mom never lets anyone see her face when she's in the sun. She'll slather on a high factor sunscreen, put on sunglasses, and a wide brimmed hat.

* Eat fresh foods and drink lots of water. My mom tells me to stay away from "dead food" food that's basically not fresh. She always eat lots of veggies, fruits, nuts, and drinks tons of water.

* Let go of stress. Stress can show up on your face, no matter how well you take care of your skin. Do something your enjoy everyday, whether it's watching TV or going shopping. Your face reflects what's going on inside of your mind.

Answer
Ok, it's getting a little long, so here is what I have so far. I will add the rest when it's done!

I peered through the filthy windshield at the rapidly narrowing dirt road and asked, âDoes anyone else think this is a bad idea, or am I the only sane person here?â
A chorus of negation followed by several volleys of crumpled napkins and food wrappers was the answer from the three other people in the over-loaded Honda. A cherry red, brand new Honda Fit that had, before this god-forsaken journey into the heart of darkness, been shiny and sweet smelling. Now itâs cute interior looked like a landfill, and itâs bright exterior was coated with so many layers of crud and filth it looked more gray than red. To top it all off, it was about 110 degrees outside, and I had opted to save money and forgo the luxury of air-conditioning.
I waved my hand dismissively at them, pulling my sticky tank top away from my body, and concentrated on avoiding some of the larger, more canyon-like potholes in the roadâ¦nay⦠trail I was navigating. 20 miles from nowhere, and getting further by the second.
âAre you sure you read the map right?â I asked my boyfriend, James, for the hundredth time, in a way I was sure was a very annoying. Honestly, I didnât really care at this point. He simply brushed back a lock of thick chestnut hair (no man should have hair as great as this- really) and looked at me in that irritatingly calm manner of his. Sometimes his refusal to be baited bordered on pathological. I mean, didnât everyone lose it at one time or another?? Not James. Cool as a cucumber. On ice.
Suddenly a wet splotch appeared on the smeared windshield. Then another, and another.
âAnd now itâs rainingâ¦PERFECT!â I gestured at the now-torrential downpour. I flicked on the wipers and watched as the muck began to smear across the windshield.
âHey, hey!â Susie called from the back, her brown curls bouncing as she sat up suddenly in her seat, whipping her iPod from her ears. âI think I see a sign!â
I craned my neck forward, trying to find a clean spot to look through, not even bothering with wiper fluid, it having long-since run dry after a passing particularly nasty cloud of insects. âI donât see anything,â I said. Seriously wondering what kind of eyesight the girl had to see anything, let alone a sign.
âThere!â she said, smacking her boyfriend, Sean on one bulky bicep. Seanâs frame barely fit on his side of the car, he was so large. Next to the diminutive Susie, he looked positively gargantuan. Whenever I saw his shoulders fill a doorway, and how his neck strained at his t-shirts, I thought steeerrrroids. Susie vehemently denied this, of course, and maintained he was just genetically blessed and spent a lot of time at the gym.
The car jolted over a pothole I missed as I tried to see through mud and rain find this fabled sign in the distance.
âCa-Ching!!! JACKPOT!â Sean practically bellowed, bouncing in his seat slightly, causing me to fear for the carâs already strained suspension. âI see the sign too!â He threw one beefy forearm forward between the seats and pointed.
There it was, glory be. Five hours, three truck stops, two questionable truck stop meals, and bathrooms so filthy I wanted to bathe in bleach afterward, it appeared we were nearly at our destination.
It was Seanâs idea to go camping. Should have known better right there. James loved the idea, having been an avid camper as a child. I was more of a city girl, and roughing it was something I felt should be avoided at all costs. Since Susie, who had stuck by me through many vacation disasters, was also gung-ho about the idea, I felt a bit outnumbered and caved. Sean described this picturesque spot by a lake where we could pitch a tent (tent!?!) and enjoy the wilderness (gah, wilderness now!?). It wasnât until later that I discovered this beautiful locale was situated many, many hours away from any civilization. But James was so excited by this point, I couldnât say no. No. Such a small, easy word. No. I could say it now. No no no no no. I sighed. Too late.
The Honda splashed through water-filled, what can only be now described as ponds in the road, and I heard a disturbing grinding noise as it bottomed out. âShit,â I mumbled, âthatâs all we need is to get stuck out here.â
More prophetic words were never spoken.
The car lurched into a particularly vast pothole and at first appeared to be able to slog through, but the viscosity of the mud was too much for it. The wheels began to spin, and my heart began to pound. Yes, it was true, we were gonna die out here in godâs frigginâ country.
Ok, perhaps that was a little dramatic. I was tired, ok? I looked over at James and he looked resigned. I glanced back at Sean, thankful suddenly to have He-Man Master of the Universe in my car.
âUh, Sean, buddy?â I asked tentatively. âAny chance you could go out there and give us a push?â
âNo problem,â He said confidently, and I felt the car rock as he got out. The sound of the rain filled the car until the door slammed. James glanced at me and murmured, âIâd better get out there too.â What was his deal?
âThis is fun, eh Sarah?â Susie chirped from the back seat preventing any further contemplation of Jamesâs attitude. I swear if I didnât love the girl, and wasnât willing to eat nails for her, I might have slapped her.
âFun? Seriously?â I pushed my limp blonde hair out of my eyes and turned to look at her. She was grinning mischievously, her eyes dancing. She looked like a fairy imp.
âYou are so fun to bug! I know you are about to go Mt. St. Helens up there.â Susie laughed at my still-incredulous expression. I turned forward again, making a mental note to get Sean a t-shirt that said, âI Am Dating a Very Disturbed Personâ. A smile cracked at the corner of my mouth. I tried to suppress it. This only made it worse and soon a laugh erupted out of me, and Susie cackled in the back seat. Suddenly we were both in hysterics, tears running down our faces. I tried to calm down, but made the mistake of looking at her and began afresh. After some time, I wiped my eyes and spotted Jamesâs bedraggled face looming in the driverâs side window. I rolled down the window, chuckles subsiding.
âWell, Iâm glad to see you ladies are having fun in here. Being DRY and all,â he said slowly. âBut, we have problem here. We canât get the care out without some sort of friction. I think we should try to make it to the lake and see if we can find some help.â Water dripped of his nose and dotted his eyelashes. Damn the man was good looking.
âOk, uh, hmmm.â I said, trying to compose myself and hearing Susie still giggling in the back seat.
âWell,â Susie said taking a deep breath, âitâs better than you going ballistic, right?â I suppose I was known for my meltdowns, I could admit it. Unlike James, I tended to hold things in only to a point, and at that point I was known to unleash holy hell on anyone who might be in my way.
Susie managed to dig out bag from the back that contained some outerwear, a couple hoodies and a windbreaker. She passed me the windbreaker, the only article that had a passing chance at being waterproof. Thatâs why I loved the girl.
We scrambled out of the car and landed calf-deep in swirling muddy water the colour of a nice iced-mocha. I had expected the temperature to cool with the rain, but no. The water splashed warmly down over us like the worldâs larges shower. Lovely. I sloshed out of the puddle and went overt to James and handed him a soggy hoodie. He took it but didnât bother to put it on. Sean opted to stay in his sleeveless t-shirt as well. The wet material clung to every ripple in his abs and chest. Unnatural, it was.
James and Sean quickly discussed the merits of leaving everything, and then finally opted to bring the tent and tarps and some bags with us. We loaded Sean like a pack mule, and the rest of us grabbed some lighter stuff and off we went. I looked back at my little car, wallowing like a tiny red and gray streaked elephant in the muck.
âHey!â I said after we had walked in silence for a while. âI totally forgot about my cell phone! We can call for help!â
âUh, letâs not get hasty here,â James said. âIâm sure we can get the car out without having to resort to calling anyone. Have some faith, girl.â He grinned at me, and I realized it was one of the first times he had smiled this whole trip.
âSure, letâs give it the old college try first,â I said gamely. Sean looked puzzled.
âBut I never went to college, Sarah,â he said. God almighty. A new t-shirt came to mind for Susie to wear this time âMy 1987 Volvo Has a Higher I.Q. Than Youâ.
âJust an expression, my sweet,â Susie cooed at him. Yeesh.
We squelched on through the mud heading towards the sign that supposedly marked our turn to the lake. After several miles, ok, maybe half of one, we reached it. "Lake Buena Vista" it declared in large black letters. A large black arrow pointed left. The lane, no point in trying to make it a road, it marked went off into some trees after a few hundred yards. I squinted through the trees, hoping to catch sight of some telltale blue of the lake. No dice.
âAll right troops,â I said in a fake-chipper voice, âletâs move out!â And we did. The lane had a grassy strip down the centre with ruts worn down on either side. A well-used thoroughfare for sure. All I cared was that it was blessedly mud-free.
After we hit the trees, I finally felt a change in temperature. The cool greenness enveloped us and blocked some of the rain. After a few minutes of this reprieve, I spotted the lake. Ok, Buena Vista it mi

Which do you think is the best brand for wrist watches??

 Mr.A

From: 1) Omega
2) Rado
3) Rolex
4) Any other...(Please specify)

Answer
A watch repairman I know well said Rolex movements are Rube oldberg and vastly overpriced. He said TAG Heuer uses ever cheaper movements and charges ever higher prices for them. Omega is a great buy according to several repairmen. I am discussing bottom line luxury brands now. The beasast watch brands can be expected to be the costliest. I have written three editions of "THE COSTLIEST WATCH BRANDS" and am working on the fourth edition. Breguet has a strong lead in all editions as the costliest brand. My repairmen speak in awe of Breguet movements, for they are works of art. Close for second and third costliest are Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin, 4th is A. Lange $ Sohne of Germany. Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Piaget and Audemars Piguet are also in the top level. Here are prices of some of my own basic gold mechanical dress watches with leather straps.
$13,850 Patek Philippe "Calatrava 3529D"
$12,100 Cartier "Tank Louis Cartier"
$10,700 Cartier "Santos Dumont"
$11,500 Vacheron Constantibn "Patrimony XL"
$9300 Piaget "Altiplano"
$9150 Jaeger-Lecoultre "Master Ultra-Thin"
For comparison, a Rolex "Cellini Classic" cost $3560 recently. I do not see how anyone can argue coherently that cheap watches are as good as costly ones. Youu did ask for the best brand, and watch repairman I know say Breguet is. it is also costliest as one might expect. Of the cheaaper brands you mention, Omega is the repairmen's choice. Indeed, I have both dress and sports models by Omega, so I like this brand.

Wine, Horses/equestrian, Boating,Flying (personal jets),Luxury vacations,Arts, Fashion â high end and Luxury cars so I can market a product to reach a wealthy audience.

Thanks

Answer
New England Home is a bimonthly regional magazine that targets the top 5% of the population, highlighting luxury resorts and homes from Cape Cod to Newport, RI. Sold at newsstands.

Boston Industry also targets this demographic and is also sold at newstands.

DuPont Registry Fine Autos and DuPont Registry of Fine Boats - They allow readers to sell, rent, and buy their own luxury cars and boats.

Evo is a European automobile magazine, focusing on custom-made Italian cars, as well as luxury homes, estates, resorts...

Palm Beach Illustrated is a highly acclaimed luxury magazine, focusing on high end fashion, and social and cultural scenes, celebrities, interior design.

Robb Report - monthly magazine that brings you exotic automobiles, boats, exclusive travek destinations, watches, jewelry, and much more.

All of these magazines are targeted at an affluent audience and only advertise expensive products. If you're looking to market a product towards the wealthy, check out their websites - they have a lot of detail on what's in the magazine itself.

Hope this helped. Good luck.

How much money should I expect to spend on an apartment?

Q. How much for monthly rent for an apartment that allows dogs in Japan????????????????????///

Answer
You might want to try narrowing it down a bit to a region or even a city as housing prices fluctuate wildly depending on where you choose to live. Also, unless you wind up living in a guest house or furnished apartment you'll need to spring for such things as appliances (gas table & fridge) and basically pay for everything including electricity, water, gas, cable, internet and whatever else they can shake you for.

To put this into perspective I'll give you two examples.

My friend and his wife lived in a two room apartment on the ground floor. Never choose the ground floor in Japan unless you happen to like humidity, mold and mildew. For this it cost them 66,000 yen a month for the apartment itself in an older building in a rather older part of town. The appliances they found, were donated by friends or they picked up really cheap. They had no cable so watched no TV, used the internet and relied on space heaters during the winter, fans in the summer and on those rare occasions when it got really hot they used the air conditioner. All in all it cost them around 75,000 yen a month not including food and sundry expenses.

My wife an I lived in a nicer area with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and living room. We bought our appliances new and had all the luxuries you'd expect. During the summer months the air conditioner ran pretty much constantly, during the winter we used the heaters that came with the apartment. We had a satellite dish and subscribed the movie channels and we had high speed ADSL installed.

Our apartment cost about 138,000 yen a month, the rest of the charges for gas, electricity, water, satellite and internet ran another 30,000 yen or so in the summer and maybe 25,000 yen in the winter. And we didn't live in an expensive place or area.

So it really depends on where you'll wind up in Japan (urban/suburban), what kind of building you wind up going into, how old it is and the area.

Like making a homeless man eating dog food from the ground. And calling him an animal. And tell a luxury escort to kiss him. And she saying no. And then you ask her what's so good and luxurious about someone who can't do her job? And you use gloves and anti disinfection liquids when shaking her hands. And when you pay them, you do so in coins, and ejoy watching the homeless man pick them up from the ground.

Are these desires normal?

I like to become an authorized retailer for luxury jewelry and watches like rolex, cartier, patek philippe, audemars, omega and many other. I like to sell them on eBay. Who can give me information about this!

Answer
You may become an authorized retailer of jewelry from Jewlery Vortex by opening a wholesale account. They have all sorts of jewlery that you can sell on ebay. As for the watches unless you have a retail store, no brand name watch company will give you a license as they do not like their brands to be sold cheaply online.

How to ask the woman you babysit for, for more money?

luxury watches for women brands image

Sasha Whit

I am 18 almost 19 years old, and I am babysitting a 4 month old baby boy. I am CPR certified and have my drivers license. I have no idea how to begin asking for more money, because I feel that it would be rude and I don't want it to seem like I am ungrateful. I have the baby from 5:30am till 4:00pm, so almost a 12 hour day. I watch him Mon-Fri every week. She is paying me every two weeks, so over 100 hours... She is only paying me $100.00 a week, so $200.00 every two weeks! Every one I have talked to says that is ridiculous and not even right! I have talked to several mothers with babies around the same age and they all keep telling me that to send a child to daycare or to be babysat is aroud 400-500 dollars in my area. How do I begin to tell her that though? I used to babysit her older son and daughter as well but now they are in school and live with their dad. So I have been around a long time, but I was never full time babysitting them. At that time I was getting paid $5.00 an hour for both kids, which wasn't bad because they were older and not as needy. But this is practically a brand new baby! I mean I see the baby more than the mother does! Not to mention he is a very needy baby, he costantly has to be held. For him to sleep he has to be held, i have to be pacing the floor to get him to go to sleep, but the second i put him down he wakes up and cries, as well as pacing the floor to feed him. He does not like being put down. I understand that because he is a baby, but to rock him for 10-12 hours isnt okay!!So i am pretty much getting paid $2.00 an hour. Help, what do I do?

Answer
First off, you need to determine what you want to be paid and more importantly, be prepared to quit and find another job if you're not satisfied with the outcome.

From the sound of your situation, it seems like you're doing this for a relative or close acquaintance, which can be a little uncomfortable.
Instead of marching up to her and asking for more money, let her know that if your financial situation doesn't change, that you'll be forced to take another job and she might loose you altogether as a babysitter. Remind her of the personal, all day attention her baby gets, and that will not happen in a daycare even though they charge more for their services. Let her know the toll it takes on you and any mother would pay a fortune if they can find someone to devote that "one on one" attention to their precious baby. Let her know that you're actually depriving yourself of certain freedom and luxuries because of the time it takes and the low pay involved.

Do all this with a sympathetic tone and not an angry or demand one. but be firm in what you what. Have a figure already in your head that you're very comfortable with and let it be your figure. If you don't nail down a number, she simply say "i'll give you a little extra then" and when payday comes around she'll probably give you and extra $50 which is not what you had in mind and then you're back to square one.

If she says she can't do any better, then its up to you to decide how much longer you want to keep doing this and the current rate.
