Which is the better watchmaker? Invicta, Swiss Legend, Akribos or August Steiner?

Are these brands worth the money or just overrated japan movement?

Answer
All four are cheap watches with cheap movements inside. They all stick a ridiculous price tag on to give the illusion of quality, then sell them at 75% off to make you feel like you are getting a luxury item at a bargain price. You never see them sold at full price. AS movements are made in China. Invicta is a Florida company these days. Akribos are just another brand under the Stuhrling Original collection; they and SL may have a swiss movements, but its still a mass-manufactured cheap watch pretendning to be more.

Does "JAPAN MOVT" in a watch indicates some type of counterfeiting?

Monica

Answer
The Swiss are the proverbial masters of watchmaking.(And Nazi money/gold laundering.)

Swiss Movements usually have the longest histories/heritages.

Japanese movements, at least to me, Do represent very good bang for the buck. They are usually well built/reliable (like Seiko for example), however not at all on the same level as their Chronometer certified Swiss brethren. its also branding Swiss Movements allow a premium price.

But to earn a coveted COSC certified certification, a movement must not only be made from the highest quality components, but also be the object of special care on part of the finest watchmakers and timers during assembly, and only 3%ish of all Swiss Movements are so certified, and exactly 0% of Japan Movement watches.

Think of it as,
Japanese Movement= Affordable and usually more robust *ie: Seiko*
Swiss Movement= higher end and some luxury watches
COSC certified= luxury+ chronometers

May I have men’s attention? Which brand is watch do men want to wear?

Love my boyfriend very much. He is handsome and sexy, I want to send him a gift. Maybe a watch is his favor.

Answer
A few more additional details would help -- how old are you (and your boyfriend), what's your budget, what's his style etc?

Assuming you are a young person who cares mostly about the style, take a look at Fossil or Kenneth Cole watches -- they tend to make stylish watches for young folks that quite good looking, both digital and analog. And they also tend to be rather affordable (anywhere from $25 - $250).

In digital watches, you've Casios and Timex that make some rather interesting ones. Check out Casio's Path Finder or G-Shock line, or Timex's Iron Man line (if you're into digital that is).

If your boyfriend is into analog watches, take a look at Seiko. They make a great quality watches at a decent price. A lot of their watches are Rolex-look alikes at much cheaper prices (not cheap knockoffs, but similar styles).

Timex also has some good analog watches. Another good brand would be Victorinox, makers of the Swiss Army Knife. They have some interesting watches, as well.

If you've a higher price point, you can look at low-end Swiss watches such as Tag Heur, Raymond Weil, Tissot, or Longines. For instance, I'm in my mid twenties, and my wife recently gifted me with a gorgeous Raymond Weil Automatic for Christmas [1], since I often have to wear a suit and tie for work, and it's a very clean and dressy watch. Watches in similar styles are usually priced at around 1-2k. Those are lower end luxury watches.

If you've more to spend, you get into brands like Breitling, IWC, JLC, Patek etc. which go from 5k and upwards.

In conclusion, assuming that you're a younger couple and your boyfriend prefers "stylish" watches, I'd look at the following -- Fossil, Kenneth Cole, Victorinox, Tissot, Tag Heur, and Rolex (in increasing order of price). Good luck!

Which brands and types of male watches are appropriate for business?

Rummy Sam

I'd like to buy my boyfriend a nice watch for Christmas. While I'm primarily looking for something he could use at the office (he works in a major personal wealth financial firm), it would be nice if the watch was a bit versatile as to be appropriate in casual situations as well. But this watch will be primarily used for work, where it's paramount that the watch be fashionable and appropriate. I'm looking to spend no more than $350.

I need to know:
1. Which types of watches are appropriate for businessmen, and would work well in casual settings too? (leather bands? metal bands? thick or thin? Chronograph? etc.)
2. Which brands are considered business appropriate? (Armani? CK? Hugo Boss? Lacoste? D&G?)

I'm a bit partial to some of these below, are any of these appropriate?

I need as detailed a response as possible as I know almost nothing about watches or finance culture. Thanks a bunch!

Answer
If your boyfriend is an I-Banker or works with clients at any time during his work day, I would recommend sticking to actual watchmakers. To explain, while these watches look nice and look good, they are what are called "fashion watches." These watches are only designed and then licensed by Armani, Burberry etc... (And fun fact.. FOSSIL actually makes most of the watches you listed... basically those Burberry, Armani, Michael Kors watches are fancy looking Fossil watches (see wiki link below).

Examples of luxury watchmakers are your Rolexes, Omegas, Tag Heuers, IWC, etc... and the list goes on... a Patek Philippe chronograph will set you back $150,000 to put it in perspective. But seriously, few of us have the means to even drop a $1000 for a watch. While I imagine some of your boyfriend's clients may be sporting car-priced timepieces on their wrists, there are definitely quality watches in the $350 range.

For the price range you gave, I would look into Citizen, Seiko and Tissot. These are excellent watchmakers and their watches are extremely reliable and well made. The Citizen Eco-Drive for instance is one of the best quartz watches on the market. When investing in a quality watch or product in general, a good thing to look for is a company that specializes in doing what they do. I would leave Hugo Boss to men's suiting rather than fine watches.

Stick with a stainless steel face and a brown strap. This is timeless and can be dressed up or down. Black leather strap watches (while black 'goes' with everythings) can look too dressy. Stick with a watch face between 38mm - 42mm. (see the Tissot link below)

Hope this helps!

Ok so I have my own house,2 kids and a full time job which doesnt make a lot but I pay all my bills and have a little left over to save and have a little fun.My bf makes about 3 times what I do monthly and shares expenses with 2 roommates. He pays when we go out to dinner weekly and buys us tickets to a few events now and then and has bought me a couple nice gifts in the 2 yrs we have been together. He is very generous with other people, lending one roommate 1,000 which hasent been paid back after a year, has given his parents almost 30,000 in the past yr for building a house and pays for a lot of the groceries for him and his roomies. He spends abt 3-4 days a week at my house though. He likes to go to the mall every weekend to shop..I dont have money for weekly shopping and have told him this.I usually end up sitting in a chair at the mall waiting on him to finish and spend a lot of time outside dressing rooms watching him try on clothes.I drive a 13 yr old car and he just got a new one 7 months ago and now is upgrading to a luxury car and I have to keep looking at the cars he is checking out online every weekend.I have a half broken cell phone which I will keep till it no longer works..meanwhile he is getting the newest iphone. He dresses in all name brands and thinks nothing of dropping $100 or more on one polo shirt.I dress nice but have never dropped that kind of money on one piece of clothing.Sometimes going shopping with him makes me sad to a degree...is that wrong of me..Advice please.
BTW although I make considerably less..I have more money in savings than he does.

Answer
he sounds selfish actually ---- its been two years you should either be married or broken up because you dont have that spark and he does not have it ---- i could not let the lady i care for just sit while i shop --- i would love to take her shopping and buy her things ---- my suggestion is move on find someone a lot more responsible and who really does care for you ---- he sounds like my brother he has NOTHING and he has been earning very good money for the past 20 years and has no savings no house no nothing really ---- move on

To the guys: Are you better off WITHOUT a WOMAN in your life?

honesty_co

I have a great life, a great job, make a good income and have a great car too, yet when ever I look back at the women I had in my life, none of the women were ever happy with how my life was. They wanted me to make even MORE money, they wanted me to work harder ( 20 hours per day ), They wanted me to buy a Mercedes / BMW instead of Japanese Luxury, AND they didn't like the way I looked, or talked, or pretty much ANYTHING else about my life. It really is quite sad and depressing now that I think about it.

Meanwhile, all of the MEN that I know think that I'm really great and they wish they could have my life. So now I wonder ; why the heck do I want a woman in my life if none of them felt I was good enough for them. A six-figure salary is NOT good enough? What? Lexus not good enough. My hair cut not good enough. My trying to be a kind, caring, loving, flexible, 100% faithful and honest man for them 'not good enough' (yes, I've been told this by women, they wanted 'MORE'.)

I mean, when I had 2 pet cats, I would give only a small fraction of my attention to them compared to what I gave to the women in my life, and the cats loved me to death, they wanted to be close to me and always showed me affection. Please don't get me wrong; I still really like women very much and I love being kind and nice to them and doing really caring wonderful things for them, but I just don't see whats in it for me to be connected to a lady anymore when nothing I seem to do is good enough for them. When they were younger they didn't seem to have such high standards to be met, but now when they are in their late 30's to 40's, they have a laundry list of things that the men must have before they are suitable, and even Hollywood stars cannot meet all of those things.

I'm still not sure what to feel myself, because on one hand I am a bit lonely, but at the same time I'm glad that I don't have to beg and plead just to be able to stay up late trying to do my work online for the next day.

So guys; if you're girl has just left you or dumped you for some other dude, do you feel that your life is now actually BETTER without a woman in it? Do you feel more freedom to do whatever you want, and not so oppressed? Or do you feel lonely and insecure without a lady in your life?

Tell me what are your thoughts?

Answer
it all depends what you want.

Do this:Recommended to take it slow, take time to get to know the person. Try to keep things clean,
less baggage. Let years of perfect relationship before marriage
(if you want you can always be engaged and married after years has passed).
You can always accept the marriage ring and just marry when you have a few years of
solid peace and love engagement/relationship. Make sure only settle for your soul
mate with peace and keep in mind there are many soul mates. Arguing is normal but is
it good? no, so make sure it is 7 years no arguments. After 7 solid years of perfect
marriage then a child if desired.

If things are minor I usually just wouldn't even give it a second thought.
If it is major I just fix it the best way and that's it. Maybe this will be a good
method for you guys. Always reinforce it with Love
Also I see premarital counseling working.Church usually has it for free.
You can even attend after marriage. Make sure no medicines.
Make sure you protect your family from outside by working only and your wife is a stay at home mom. NOTE if she makes double your wage, you better stay at home instead and do the cooking cleaning and so on. If you work you can do all the home manly things. If plumber or whatever needs to go to the house make sure you see them the whole time. Make sure you have a hospital or office with only females. Give love to your wife always and hear her out and then you have to make the decision. Also be responsible for the family. Make love to her as much as she wants, make sure she is always satisfied as you too will be satisfied. Be attentive to the kids and your wife. Make sure you save, pay your car with cash, your house with cash and then retirement. Make sure you raise your kids right to be good adults. What every your handling there's no need to tell your family, just make sure you on the ball so you can get it back and score. Make sure you stay fit, try to be handsome even if you think it is silly or waste of time or you think you don't. Take a shower 1 to 2 times a day. Make sure you smell good. Make sure you have good breathe. Make sure you go to the restroom when she is not around for number 2 or 3. Make sure you are organized. Make sure you dress decent at all time (wear the favor t-shirt with holes under your other shirt). Make sure she knows she is appreciated and important to you and the family. If it is her or them it is always her as long as it makes sense. They can always be second, but she is first. MUST make sense. When she is not right on some things or don't remember just help with a quiet mouth. By all this your married life if you choose will be a fulfilled one.

White Knights never argue, but knights make their women proud and want them. Make sure you have everything ready. I mean like saving for a 6 month rainy day and then increase that as much as you can as time goes on. Buy a house cash small to start and then bigger when you decide and ready to have a child so the child can stay in one community for their whole school life and a place to come home always during Holidays and for you to plant your plants and watch them grow and to grow old in, make sure to pay cash or go smaller if needed or just wait on the child/bigger home, peace is most important. Your wife should always have access to cash and a good amount. If you can it is better you balance the books. Pay that car cash, used or new. Pay the vacation cash and have your retirement ready, remember to diversified in many ways not just many stocks but many ways. NOW if you want to use some credit cards because of perks then make sure to place that cash aside in the bank account so when the statement comes cash is already waiting ;)
On another note you seem to be a very nice person, so I like to add that what ever person you want a serious relationship with, take your time (years) and really really really see if this is the person you will spend your whole life with. If you can even better never get married and just enjoy your life with nothing serious, make sure the other party knows your intentions.

How often should I apply gradual tanning tinted body lotion if I don't want much colour?

I'm really pale so I don't want to look tan per se as that would look stupid in the middle of february, just a bit of colour would be nice. This isn't just something I want to just temporarily wear either, so should I just apply it something like twice a week (say saturday & wednesday) to keep on top of it? Will that be too much/not enough?

Answer
I'll let the experts tell you about it.
SELF-TANNERS: "I've had many patients who think these products somehow offer UV protection or that they give them a 'base tan' so they won't burn," says Dr. Hale, a NYC M.D., dermatologist and vice chair of the Skin Cancer Foundation. "'If I have skin cancer, you'll just remove it, and I'll be OK'. But the color that self-tanners create on your skin is completely artificial. But a lot of young women use these products so they don't look pale when they go to the beach to tan." 86% of women surveyed who use self-tanners reported they'd also baked in the sun, and 36% admitted they'd also used tanning beds (a leading cause of melanoma!) at least once in the past year. Australian study confirms that sunless tanning likely did not reduce the amount of UV exposure women get.

How do i get a dark tan fast?

Madison

I am very pale skinned and i burn very easily... Then my burn peels and im pale again. So how do i Get a natural tan fast? Or how would i apply bronzers to be even with no streaks and look natural?

Answer
Not possible, unless you go for 'fake tan', which btw according to the FDAâs good manufacturing processes and to the extent that these ingredients can be avoided, DHA may contain up to 3 parts per million of arsenic, 20 parts per million of lead, and 20 parts per million of iron.

To get super tan you will have to be tanning for @ least 60 years, George Hamilton & Tom Jones are two examples, who ARE super tan! Google them.
Tanning comes & go, unless you do them everyday 24/7 for the rest of your life. But in the end the only thing you'll benefit is either moles, freckles, skin tags or discolorations from sunscreens, lotions, etc. and the more you do, the more they get larger, darker & bumpier. My nephew had a membership in a tanning bed salon for a year. After it expired, he stopped, now he's as white as before he began.

Tanning, is a result for 'damaged skin' and no products can reverse you from skin cancer or damaged skin, may prevent you from pre-mature aging, but that's part of the billion dollar beauty industry.

Hi, I have very pale skin and want to have a very very subtle tan for winter. I have st tropez gradual tan. What days should i apply it so it looks the same shade throughout the week?

Answer
Summer, spring, fall or winter, ANYTIME you go tanning, that's more risks than ever. The sun & too much soaking in the tub or poll are skin's worst enemies.
Tanning comes & go, unless you do them everyday 24/7 for the rest of your life. But in the end the only thing you'll benefit is either moles, freckles, skin tags or discolorations from sunscreens, lotions, etc. and the more you do, the more they get larger, darker & bumpier. Tanning, is a result for 'damaged skin' and no products can reverse you from skin cancer or damaged skin, may prevent
Melanoma is the leading cause of death from skin disease. An estimated 76,259 new cases of skin cancer will be reported particularly among women in their 20's & 30's, and that's 6,020 more than 2011, people died from the disease, according to the National Cancer Institute. Two million people are diagnosed with skin cancer in the US each year, according to the EPA's Sun-Wise Program. That's more than breast, colon, lung and prostate cancer cases combine!

Lotions does not protect you from nasty, painful burns. Lotions does not protect you from skin cancer. Lotions does not protect you from skin diseases. Lotions does not protect you from discolorations - permanently. And lotions does not protect you from skin tags, freckles, moles, they will only get larger, darker, and bumpier as they are exposed from UV.

Is Western Europe a major exporter of manufactured goods?

XinLei C

Answer
Absolutely.

Germany is Europe's biggest economy and its top export is machinery:
https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/gm.html
For France, the top exports are machinery and transportation equipment:
https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/fr.html
and similarly for Great Britain:
https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/uk.html

The entire world knows about European cars, European airplanes (AirBus), European cell phones (Nokia), European luxury goods (high clothing, accessories, etc.), European watches (Swatch), European furniture (Ikea), and even European candy (Cadbury, Nestle, Lindt, etc.)

But Europe also produces many goods for industry (machine tools, parts, etc.) and goods that aren't clearly branded (buses, jet engines, optics, etc.)

In fact, the last time I went to my eye doctor, the machine used to take pictures of my eye was made in Germany.

In fact, one of the interesting elements of trade between developed countries is that they all export manufactured goods to each other.

What should I know about car seats before I buy one?

I need a car seat for my 12month old (FAST) she 's really outgrown it. But I don't really know what to look for. What makes a good car seat? What should I watch out for? I went to buy one today, but there were so many, and the salesperson didn't know much. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
Remember these rules:
1)the BEST seat is the one that fits your child, fits your car, and will be used correctly 100% of the time. (This is why convenience features DO make a difference and ARE worth the money! If its easy to use, you're more likely to use it correctly.
2)Children should stay rear facing AS LNOG AS POSSIBLE!!!! The 20lbs/1 year rule is outdated and provides a bare minimum for turning kids forward facing. The American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration both recommend keeping kids rear facing as long as possible, up to the limits of their seat, preferably until at least 2 years of age. For good reason: A forward-facing child under 2 years old is 4 times more likely to be killed or seriously injured in a crash than a rear-facing child of the same age. A child's vertabrae do not fully fuse until 3-6 years old, before then, she is at great risk for internal decapitation. The spinal column can stretch up to 2 inches in a crash BUT the spinal cord can only stretch up to 1/4 inch before it snaps and baby is gone. In other countries, rear facing 2 - 3 - 4 year olds is standard, they understand that its safer. Here, we turn them as soon as we get to, seeing it as a right of passage thing or something. Ridiculous. Most convertible seats have a 30lbs rear facing limit, Cosco/Dorel/Safety1st/Eddie Bauer seats rear face to 35lbs, Britax rear faces to 33lbs.
3)Once you do turn them forward facing, they need to stay in a 5 point harness as long as possible. 4 years/40lbs is the minimum for riding in a booster, and most 4 year olds have no business using one yet. If they can't sit upright for an entire trip, they need the harness of a car seat still. And, even if they do sit properly, a 5 point harness is safer, so you want to keep them in one as long as possible. This is important to consider b/c most car seats only forward face to 40lbs. My son just turned 3, and is in the 95th% for height and weight - 40" tall and weighs 41lbs. He outgrew the 40lbs seats shortly after his 2nd birthday. It was a total waste of money. He now has a Britax Marathon, which goes to 65lbs, and will be able to fit it for some time yet. If I'd have bought it when he was born, I could have had one car seat this whole time instead of the 3 I wasted money on. They are more expensive for many reasons, this is one.

So...knowing all that, here's some about specific seats. Please don't get a Graco Comfort Sport. Car seat techs call it the 'crappysport'. LOL Its a crappy seat that won't last your child very long b/c it has a really short shell. The straps twist all the time, and if they're twisted they won't support your child in a wreck properly. They're hard to install. There's nothing good about these seats except perhaps they're cheap sometimes. Ditto the Safety1st 3-in-1/Cosco Alpha Omega/Eddie Bauer 3-in1 seats. These are all the same company - same seat, just different covers. They stink. Hard to install, b/c of narrow belt paths. Ever tried to wash a skinny cup by hand? Now imagine that skinny cup with pointy edges. That's what putting your hand through these to install them is like. AND they have too short a shell to really go to 40lbs. And they do not make good boosters. Also, most kids have to use boosters until they're at least 8 years old. Car seats expire 6 years after the date of manufacture, so no matter what they say it is NOT the last seat you'll ever need to buy.

The Britax Marathon/Boulevard/Decathalon (These 3 are the same seat, just different variances of luxury additions, with the Marathon being the cheapest base model) can be found for regular price of $269, and on sale at Albee Baby online for $209-$219. The Marathon a wide open easy to route belt path, which makes using it correctly a lot easier, as do the built in lockoffs, which mean you never again have to use a locking clip. I can get it into 4 different vehicles in under 2 minutes. Because of the way the base is made, it fits in most cars. And, it is worth the money, b/c it lasts usually twice as long as most other car seats (all car seats expire 6 years after the date of manufacture) lasting a baby till they are 5-6 years old, where most at Walmart will only last till 2-4 years old. Rear faces to 33lbs, then forward to 65lbs. and top slots 17inches tall, lasts most kids to ages 5-6 years old.

The Evenflo Triumph Advance (not the original Triumph, make sure it says Advance) is a great seat. $150 version at Babies R Us has padding similar to Britax seats, top slots of 17", harnesses to 35lbs rear facing, and 50lbs forward facing. $120 Walmart version just has little less plush padding. Wide open belt path, easy to install, though it doesn't have built in lockoffs. The harness adjusts at the front of the car seat, you don't have to take the car seat out of the car just to raise/lower the straps. It's one of only 2 seats that does this (The Britax Boulevard is the other, I believE), and it has infinite harness adjustment so the harness always fits perfectly until its outgrown. No more tugging straps to tighten them either. You tighten and loosen the harness using knobs on the side of the seat. As a major bonus, it can be used in a recline position even in forward facing mode. Awesome for kids who still sleep in the car. I LOVE THIS SEAT! LOL My son, who is too big for every other car seat at Walmart has the same amount of room in this as the Britax Marathon.

The Fisher Price Safe Voyage Deluxe Convertible seat is great, it is made by Britax, without all the frills. It's the same shell as a Marathon, but for less than half the price. $130 at Albee Baby online with free shipping, or at their eBay name, babysurplus. Rear faces to 33lbs, forward to 55lbs. Easy to use, fits in most cars.

These are the best you can buy that will give you the most bang for your buck. As a single parent I'm always watching the budget - I have no money to speak of, and these are what I would buy. (My son has a marathon and is soon getting a Britax Regent). They will last the longest. I only wish someone would've told me all this before I had him, I coulda saved some money for the extra seats I started out with!

All seats in the US must meet the same safety criteria to sell, so technically they all are safe, however, if its hard to install, then it won't be used correctly and that makes it unsafe. Also, they only must meet the guidelines, some seats barely pass, some exceed them. Britax exceeds the guidelines and is easy to use.

Answer
The best action Adventures I have seen are:

Fullmetal Alchemist-Long adventure that 2 brothers go on and it is packed with adventure... Classic and a Fan favorite show.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood- The same basic show but different things happen, some people play bigger rolls and some Die in this that don't die in FMA. I like this one better but if you can see both then you should!

Shakugan no Shana Has a normal boy who 1 day is some how in the middle of a free framed fight! Time has stop except for the Mysterious girl with Red hair and A monster! This a you can guess changes his life forever.

Dessert punk is really good, The shows main character is a 15yr old bounty hunter. Known by all In the dessert as the demon of the dessert, He is very immature and is motivated by nothing but Money $ and Hoes... or women. =) super funny

Code geass is very hard to explain so im gonna post a review from http://myanimelist.net: The Empire of Brittania has invaded Japan using giant robot weapons called Knightmare Frames. Japan is now referred to as Area 11, and its people the 11s. A Brittanian who was living in Japan at the time, Lelouch, vowed to his Japanese friend Suzaku that he'd destroy Brittania. Years later, Lelouch is in high school, but regularly skips out of school to go play chess and gamble on himself.

One day, he stumbles on terrorists 11s who've stolen a military secret and is caught by a member of the Brittanian task force sent after them, who is Suzaku. As the rest of the squad arrives, Suzaku is shot for disobeying orders, while the military secret, a young girl, gives Lelouch the power to make anyone obey any order. He takes command of the terrorists and leads them to crush the approaching Brittanian force. However, Suzaku is secretly made the pilot of Brittania's brand new test model Knightmare, Lancelot. Lelouch becomes the masked king Zero to lead the rebellion to defeat Brittania.
Great thriller and tactical sho top notch!

Zettai Shougeki: Platonic Heart This show is the altame of altomate actions... This show has the best ending you can ever see! Promise, well Code geass may come close...

Durarara!! is a personal favorite of mine and is a top 5 show for me. The plot is hard to put together but it is very spread about. There are only 7 MAIN characters! They all play big roles and some of them don't even know each other... The show ties together at the end of the show but @ the start is kinda spread out.

Eden of the East is the hardest to explain and ill give you another summary from the site. On November 22, 2010 ten missiles strike Japan. However, this unprecedented terrorist act, later to be known as "Careless Monday," does not result in any apparent victims, and is soon forgotten by almost everyone. Then, 3 months later... Saki Morimi is a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip. But just when she is in front of the White House, Washington DC, she gets into trouble, and only the unexpected intervention of one of her fellow countrymen saves her. However, this man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, is a complete mystery. He appears to have lost his memory, is stark naked, except for the gun he holds in one hand, and the mobile phone he's holding in the other. A phone that is charged with 8,200,000,000 yen in digital cash. This show is in my opinion the most well put together and has 2 seasons 3 movies.

Highschool of the Dead is super crazy and is really good, It's a zombie flick but It is really good. Teens are the main characters and they are in class when the outbreak takes place in the city... the few who do survive quickly find out the whole world is infected and the only thing that maters is to survive. The show isn't a slaughter feast but has some romance and other things.

Sekirei Is My favorite on the list and should be seen! It has ecchi but is mostly for humor, The show is similar to Zatchbell. THe sekirei plan is a plan that was made to have thes genetically altered thing s(Because they aren't technically humans but really look like it and it seems to be mostly women). This is a plan put together by a rich incorporationion and the ceo is in charge of the game. Well A boy runs into a girl or a sekirei (but he didnt know this) and saves her from these scary super beings trying to kill her(other sekirei) but this is how he meets his 1 sekirei and this changes his life forever... This show Is the BEST... Only FMA or FMAB is better in my opinion... Oh and Naruto is better.

But these are top notch shows! watch them all! now!

How do I get past my husband's hurtful comments?

Q. My husband's company holds a huge end of the year party for all it's employees and spouses and it's always an evening, dressy affair at a local high-end hotel ballroom. We have been very happily married 8 years and have gone to every one of them and had a wonderful time drinking, dining and dancing the night away.
This year we were very excited to go and had been talking about it for several weeks beforehand. I even went out and bought this brand new 'little black dress' that I knew he would love. The night of the party I got ready and came downstairs with my makeup flawless, my best jewelry, new dress and heels and was so excited to have him see me expecting the bevy of compliments he always has for me, but instead his face fell.
He asked me if I had gained weight. I had to confess that in the past year (we have two little ones under 5) that I gained a few extra pounds. 'Few' as in 4-5. He said to me "That dress can't be the size 2 you normally wear?" and I had to admit that no, it was a size 4.
He was quiet for a while and then said that maybe we just should stay home tonight and order dinner in and watch a movie. He told me that although he loved me unconditionally and was very happy he didn't want his wife to look like a 'big girl'. I wear a size 4 dress so I don't know in what universe that makes me a 'big girl!' Most of it is in my boobs from having the kids which he claims to LOVE during sex!
needless to say we didn't go, and I cried myself to sleep while he watched movies on TV. I felt so stupid and inadequate! To make matters worse when he went to work and everyone asked why he wasn't at the party he told them all it was because 'his wife didn't want to go.'. Now they all think I'm some kind of party pooper holding my husband back instead of the fact he was an asshole about the whole thing!
I'm hurt over the whole damn thing. He acknowledges this but says that it was his right to not go to the party if he didn't feel 'comfortable' with it and that he had to save face my throwing me under the bus to his co-workers. Should I just forgive and forget or somehow hold it over him?

Secondly....is a woman who wears a size 4 and weighs 116 lbs @ 5'3 a 'bigger girl' ??????
To all: We have a gym in our home and we both work out several days a week. My husband is in excellent physical shape -so I can't 'bash' him for that, but I also thought I was in very good shape as well. people tell me often how 'tiny' I am or how great I look etc. I will admit the dress I had was very form fitting so maybe the 4-5 lbs was obvious? I don't know...
Mary: I appreciate the comments, but personally I find going out for a night of dancing in a little black dress to only be encouraging attention from other men..which as a married women I personally find inappropriate and would never do. Morally I don't condone any form of promiscuity in mind, body or spirit and that includes flirting with other men etc.. but thanks for your kind words!

If I was you i'd tell him you'll lose weight when he gets a bigger penis, and then proceed to gain even more weight.

I'm really pale and never tried to tan before. I usually wear sunscreen so I don't really know how easily I burn. I want to get a tan before Memorial Day. What SPF should I use and how long should I lay out for everyday to get a tan?

Answer
Pale people don't tan, they burn.

Tanning comes & go, unless you do them everyday 24/7. But in the end the only thing you'll benefit is either moles, freckles, skin tags or discolorations from sunscreens, lotions, etc. and the more you do, the more they get larger, darker & bumpier, even skin diseases like Bullous Pemphegoid or Discoid Lupus. Like exercising, your muscles will sag, when suddenly you stopped, same with getting a tan, they will fade.

Tanning, is a result for 'damaged skin' and no products can reverse you from skin cancer or damaged skin, may prevent you from pre-mature aging, but that's part of the billion dollar beauty industry. To get super than you will have to be tanning for @ least 60 years, George Hamilton & Tom Jones are two examples, who ARE super tan! Google them.

Now however, a recently published study suggests that those people with ginger hair and fair complexions face a much higher risk of developing dead skin cancer even if they are completely protected. Oregon has the fourth highest rate of death from skin cancer in the United States, according to Dr. Brian Druker at the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. KATU.com 2-12-13

To get the level of SPF you see on the label, you have to spread the lotion on like a layer of vanilla frosting; that's the thickness used in Food & Drug Administration tests. "So your SPF 30 is really a 10." says Steven Q Wang, M.D. director of dermatologic surgery and dermatology @ Memorial Sloan-Ketterng Cancer Center in Basking Ridge, NJ and author of Beating Melanoma. I am naturally tan but became pale over time if I get a tan will it stay or fade?

-

I am naturally tan (Native American) and because of staying inside so much I have become pale. Now I am getting a tan, will the tan stay permanently or will it fade in the winter?
I am still tan but I am pale like if you were white but you still could look pale the same with my skin I am dark but pale.

Answer

But in the end the only thing you'll benefit is either moles, freckles, skin tags or discolorations from sunscreens, lotions, etc. and the more you do, the more they get larger, darker & bumpier. Tanning, is a result for 'damaged skin' and no products can reverse you from skin cancer or damaged skin, may prevent you from pre-mature aging, but that's part of the billion dollar beauty industry.
A new study conducted by the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Dermatology has found that tanning bed exposure can be dangerous when tanners self-diagnose skin problems and use the radiation to treat skin eruptions. The study specifically found that a tanning bed user that used the radiation to treat a mild skin rash caused by an ibuprofen allergy developed a much more severe reaction called toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN). When left untreated, TEN can be fatal.

I want to start a online retail business that sells luxury accessories like Rolex watches and need a business partner that is good at code writing.

Answer
Hi Lewis
First of all, good luck in your new endeavors.

Secondly, in order to get helped it would be better if you are more specific.
Are you already in this business and you just want to try it online? or are you looking to start a new business? if so do you know this line and have the knowledge and right relationships in that industry?
You plan selling it as an affiliate or you plan buying stock?

You need a coder meaning to build the site and unload the products?
Do you have a plan about promoting the site, or that is part of what you need from the partner?

Each of the above business type have different answers, once you describe the above I would be more then happy to help you again.

Thanks. J

I like to become an authorized retailer for luxury jewelry and watches like rolex, cartier, patek philippe, audemars, omega and many other. I like to sell them on eBay. Who can give me information about this!

Answer
You may become an authorized retailer of jewelry from Jewlery Vortex by opening a wholesale account. They have all sorts of jewlery that you can sell on ebay. As for the watches unless you have a retail store, no brand name watch company will give you a license as they do not like their brands to be sold cheaply online.

Buy watch for male bestfriend, is Seiko a reputable brand?

invisibles

I know Rolex, Movado are luxury brands but I can't afford them. The two watches I'm looking are from Seiko, one is stainless steel, and the other is a sports/strap watch. They're both about $60-$70. This is for my best friend, I want to get him something nice! (He's been hinting that he wants a watch) What are your thoughts? Thanks!

who can tell me how to recognize the replica watches by our eye?

luxury watch brand logos
on swiss watches Swiss watch logos
luxury watch brand logos image

Arthur

last week, I bought a watch from the internet, when I show the watch to my friends, they said that my watch was a replica watch, I am very confuse, and I felt that I was cheated by the seller. now, I just want to know how to judge them by our eye, if you have any information, please let me know, thank you!

Answer
Check these following aspects yourselves to a watch you going to buy:
1.The Crystal: Hardness and Reflection: A number of watch manufacturers employ a thin coating or veneer on the surface of the watch's glass crystal to reduce light reflections and its effects. This often gives the crystal a slightly blue tint viewed at most angles. If the watch you're examining is a reputable and well-known brand, you may have reason to be concerned if there are a large number of reflections from the crystal at various angles. High-end luxury watches today use a synthetic sapphire for the crystal, compared to treated glass that many cheap replicas use and a true sapphire crystal will be scratch-resistant.
2.The Case: Details and Mechanism: Authentic watches have a transparent case back that allows you to see the watch mechanism and movement. They also generally have enhancing elements such as sophisticated gears and an intricate finish on the watch movement. Fake watches, on the other hand, have no decorations and expose a very plain mechanism with little or no detail and one look at it will often expose the watch as counterfeit.
3.The Crown: Solid or Shoddy: Cheap replicas sometimes have the logo glued to the crown. Ascertain that the crown has no indication of glue or rough edges. The watch should also wind smoothly and effortlessly. Some replicas imitate the engraving on the watch crown with laser etching, but this method is rarely used on authentic watches. In addition, some watches have jewels embedded in the crown. On genuine watches this jewel is usually a sapphire or ruby while replicas normally use a glass or crystal stone that can easily be spotted by its dull appearance.
4.The Band: Pins or Screws: Watches generally have leather, rubber, ceramic, carbon fiber, or metal straps or bands, which are straightforward to replace and customize to the owner's needs or taste. Quality leather watch bands are padded or have a soft leather inner section. Metal bands, on the other hand, are harder to duplicate. The cheaper bands are made of low-grade stainless steel and are typically held together with pins instead of the screws that most genuine manufacturers use. The more expensive bands are of higher-quality steel and use screws.

Should there be two sets of codes on a LV Batignolles Horizontal Monogram Bag?

dollarbill

I bought a LV bag( Batignolles Horizontal Monogram) off ebay but there's only 1 set of numbers found in the bag, which is located on the interior D ring( TH0098).

Shouldnt there be another set of numbers located inside the zipper of the bag? If there's only 1 set of numbers found in the bag, does this mean that the bag is fake?

Answer
i don't know those details- sorry, but...

BUYER BEWARE
Spotting a knockoff is more difficult than you might think. Arm yourself with these key information points to avoid purchasing a fake.

Location, Location, Location
First and foremost, purchasing luxury goods at a brandâs boutique, Web site or authorized dealer is your best bet to insure buying a genuine product. Items at flea markets, home parties, from street vendors or unauthorized Web sites are likely to be fake.

The Price is Right
Quality and exclusivity account for the high price of luxury goods. So, if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Construction Sites
Craftsmanship is a main point of distinction with luxury goods. Sloppy stitches in less visible areas â such as the underside of a product or inside pockets â is likely the result of counterfeit production.

Package Deal
Luxury retailers meticulously package their products, including tissue paper, authenticity cards, product care information, and superior quality boxes and shopping bags. If you see a plastic wrap covering or a flimsy dust bag, it's probably a fake. For example, counterfeit manufacturers will often wrap the handles of handbags in plastic.

Spellcheck
Counterfeiters will often misspell designer names. Check for letters that are swapped or a letter that is capitalized that shouldnât be, and vice versa.

Check the Hardware
With most luxury accessories, you will find the logo on all the metal pieces, such as zippers, latches, snaps and buckles.

Read the Label
In a genuine article of luxury clothing, most often the label is stitched in, whereas counterfeit clothes are likely to have a less expensive hangtag. Also check the country of origin on the label.

Timely Tips
Makers of fake watches may not replicate unusual features, such as a helium relief valve. If the feature is available, often times it does not function.

How do Westboro Baptist Church members justify their embrace and utilization of goods and technology?

Clyde

Most of us dislike their approach in preaching their beliefs. However, let's say, theoretically, that what they say in interviews and demonstrations is true. I am curious as to how they would respond to a question about their use of the latest technology (Twitter, iPhones [some have them in demonstration footage]), their clothing (name brand [Nike], other textiles produced in mass quantity in China, sunglasses clearly not hand made), other tools they use to highlight their beliefs (Photoshop, Windows) and their own personal luxuries (leather couches, new appliances, entertainment centers with surround sound and flat screen televisions). I am not being facetious, but truly interested in what the online community thinks they would justify these utilizations.

They preach that their intent is to make all aware of God's will, and that if we are not showing others the way, we are enabling 'f**s' and the destruction of our own world. BUT, if they are contributing to this 'enabling' society through purchasing and utilizing all of the means listed above, are they not, themselves, enabling the enablers?

I, most likely, similar to many of you have spent some time researching the WBC and watching interviews and no one, not even Brick Stone as far as I can tell, brings up these seemingly obvious questions. There seems to be some serious double-standards occurring here.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance...
For instance, just now I watched a clip of Brick Stone interviewing Steve Drain in February of this year, and Mr. Drain is wearing an Under Armour brand jacket. Under Armour, like most widespread, successful companies, has a non-discrimination policy. So, by purchasing these garments (and promoting them by wearing them) are they not supporting companies whose ideologies are in complete contrast to their own?

Answer
Not that I agree with WBC and how they do things, nowhere in the Bible does it forbid Christians to wear clothes that are of a brand name. The Bible basically just said to dress modestly...so whether the brand be Nike, Under Armor, etc... it's not forbidden.

As far as technology goes, the church utilizes those things to operate in today's world. Those things were created by humans to enhance life. They are not by themselves wrong, but the use of them that can be wrong. If you read the Bible, people back then were fishermen, carpenters, builders, clothing makers, shipbuilders, etc... They made stuff that helped people function in the world. "We are all sinners and come short of the glory of God" was as true then as it is now. Not every shipbuilder was a follower of Jesus, or lived a life that went along with the Gospel, but their boats were still used by the disciples to fish and travel from place to place.

Christians today are businessman, carpenters, mechanics, electricians, etc... and "We are all sinners..." still applies - christian or not. Whether or not the Christian does research or is enlightened by the brand name's company that may or may not agree or go against the policies of their church - and how they feel they should react - is between them and God. But nowhere in the Bible does it forbid the use of these things.

FYI, when you read the Bible it may seem as though it's full of conflicts, but that's because there are different "dispensations" (periods of time in English, or "ages"). The Old Testament, for example, was basically the dispensation of Law. Simply put - The people had to follow all the laws, or they were condemned. There was only one way to get out of or make right your sins, and that was to sacrifice a "clean" animal, such as a sheep. That animal's blood was put on the alter and burned. The sacrifice of the animal's blood caused God to forgive that person's sin -- but it only lasted a limited time.People had to sacrifice animals on the alter all the time to cover their since.

Today, we are in the dispensation, or age of Grace - why? Because God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for all of our sins. He is an everlasting sacrifice. His blood was shed to eternally cover all of our sins. So, we don't need to follow the law like the people in the Old Testament did. "Everything is permissible, but everything is not beneficial" according 1 Corinthians 10:23. so it is not wrong for a Christian to wear Under Armor, or use an iPhone. Now, if a Christian beat up an old lady and stole that iPhone, that's not beneficial....and is against what God would want them to do. But all they have to do is ask God's forgiveness, turn from that sin of stealing and beating up old ladies, and make things right with the old lady by apologizing....and God forgives them and restores them.

This is a simple explanation of what I'm talking about: http://www.matthiasmedia.com.au/2wtl/2wtlonline.html

Again, I am not a Fundamentalist like the WBC people. I am a Christian, but I don't agree with their practices of marching at funerals, being legalistic and downright hateful. But this particular thing that you're talking about is not wrong, so I wanted to explain why. Christians are taught to live as Christ did....loving, ministering, healing, praying for, and encouraging people - which is what I believe.

Hope this explained things.

How can I become authorized retailer for jewelry and watches?

udoginczek

I like to become an authorized retailer for luxury jewelry and watches like rolex, cartier, patek philippe, audemars, omega and many other. I like to sell them on eBay. Who can give me information about this!

Answer
You may become an authorized retailer of jewelry from Jewlery Vortex by opening a wholesale account. They have all sorts of jewlery that you can sell on ebay. As for the watches unless you have a retail store, no brand name watch company will give you a license as they do not like their brands to be sold cheaply online.

Weird smell when I wear fake tan!?

Karly

When i'm not wearing fake tan, i don't have this problem. I get up every day and put deodorant on just like most people do.. But when i've got fake tan on (no matter what brand) it makes my armpits smell so weird! I remember once after I had a spray tan done, the woman told me not to put any deodorant on for the first few hours because it would make me smell weird and I thought to myself "how could it do that!" so I just ignored it but now I believe it! I'm not going to wake up and put no deodorant on so what do I do? Either don't put any on and stink, or put some on but still stink! It's a really weird smell?! i plaster myself in deodorant because I don't understand why it does it, the liquid one and spray, yet it doesn't change nothing! Anyone have any ideas and what can I do to stop it? I'm obsessed with fake tan as i'm naturally pale but i hate this smell so much.

According to the FDAâs good manufacturing processes and to the extent that these ingredients can be avoided, DHA may contain up to 3 parts per million of arsenic, 20 parts per million of lead, and 20 parts per million of iron.

Did you know that DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is allowed to contain arsenic, a poison, and lead a known carcinogen? Also the FDA does not police the manufacture of DHA and assay its contents. In other words batches of DHA that are produced by a host of refineries are exempt from certification.

Find another kind of obsession. Watch Mirror, Mirror when the evil queen played by Julia Roberts wanted to look as fair as the princess played by Lily Collins. I came from a vacay in Ireland, and many of the people there working in the profession (luxury hotels and banks, etc.) have beautiful white complexion!
This is what beautiful flawless skin looks like:

Google Liv Tyler. http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=liv+tyler&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
Or Google Catherine Zeta Jones - she's 42 with beautiful skin.

I've been protecting myself from the sun since age 9, but no matter, I got Discoid Lupus. Google that one. It was like someone punched my chin and it gave a purplish mark. It took 12 years for that to fade, so now I'm using a wide brim hat or umbrella for protection. Gene Simmons & Shannon both have been seen hold an umbrella during an event. They were invented before beauty products, for a reason. Google also Bullous Pemphegoid, photos, another skin disorder.

Why do people finance overpriced cars and make dealers rich?

Wolf

I never understood it, I am not perfect and sure I feel tempted to take out a loan every time I see a sexy Mercedes pass me by in my old Toyota; but after thinking about it I would be a fool to be making $250+ payments per month when I could drive my 1998 Toyota for free since I own it

I had to ask since I was watching an episode of Judge Judy and the case was about tax return money and the financing of a car. Didnt watch the entire thing but watched enough of it to know that the couple had $6k and still decided to finance a monte carlo. Thats like the silliest thing I ever heard, my Toyota corolla cost me $1200 and I had it for like 10 years with no probs. Who the heck would down pay $6k on a pos and then still have monthly payments?????? I could buy 3 strong used Toyotas or Hondas with $6k...smh

Can someone please explain this to me? I could understand financing a car like a BMW 745 since most people cant buy it outright, but surely someone can buy a car like mines or a monte carlo for A LOT less than $6k. Why even finance a car like that when everyone knows it holds no value and isn't even considered luxury. Its like me financing a Toyota Tercel and making a dealer rich when I could simply get one for $1000 cash from a person seller!

If the person is low on cash and has to go to a Buy Here pay Here place for transportation to get to and from work then fine. I cant judge them because they are low on cash and probably got like $500 to their name; but having $6k and still financing a car is totally beyond me!

Answer
When you finance a car through a dealer they use a bank or credit union. The bank or credit union buys the car for the agreed price from the dealer and then starts charging you a monthly bill with interest! Its not really the dealers who get rich it is the banks.

Say you agree on a 20,000 dollar car and you have qualified for the loan through bank X. Once all the paperwork is done the dealer sends it off to the bank. The bank sends a 20,000 dollar check to the dealership to buy the car. Then 5 years down the road when all the payments are made depending on interest rate you endup paying about 24,000 for the car, guess who made the money here (the bank) they made 4 grand off of the buyer just for loaning the money.

I agree a buy here pay here place is dumb because they charge typically 20-50% interest its robbery, and they do make the money at those places, which is why no one should buy from those places. I also agree if you are looking for a used car and have a substantial amount of money in the bank you should buy it outright and I have.

What most people are thinking about is they only have to pay 150 bucks a month to buy the car for 4-5 years, not 5 grand all at once. What they don't realize is they will end up paying almost twice the amount the car is worth in the end by making payments, so if it is a 4 thousand dollar car they end up paying at a local used car lot (shady acres) 8 grand or more for that 4 grand car (stupid plain stupid).

Now as far as new cars go (like me) I have a 2011 Ford Ranger I got it for 19,000 brand new and it is the XLT model, got a good deal, but I did not have 19 grand to just plop down on a new car, but I can easily afford the payments, and my interest is only 3 %. So even at the end of the 5 years I will only endup paying about 22,500 for it which is still about 3 grand under MSRP!

You should also ask why do people even borrow money for anything, the main reason because we all put wants in front of needs, and those wants are or can be expensive so much so it is beyond our temporary means of getting that object, banks say ok I will loan you the cash but at a price, and us dumb consumers agree, it has gone on since the beginning of man so there is no point in even trying to stop it.
