Q. I'm getting a bike for high school and I thought that it would be the perfect one, but I'm lazy and I don't want to look at the movie myself.

I just watched the last few minutes of the movie for ya' and Juno's red bike appears to be a men's bike in that the top tube (as it is called) is almost horizontal). Also when I paused the movie, I could only make out "...AD RACE on the down tube because someone had deliberately put a white sticker over the full brand name. Sooo...I can't tell what brand it is but I think it's an older model, road racing bike (probably a 10-speed) because of the shape of the all-red handle bars (a big, curved, backwards "C").

What are the 3 small circular dials intended to be used for? They are on other watch brands and I have a watch with them on it, but I have no idea why they are there or what they do. Would someone please enlighten me?

It has a stopwatch function, diving meter, etc.
A chronograph was originally used by pilots, military and other professionals that required accurate timing functions. More recently, it is a matter of taste, social standing and a high-end fashion statement.
Chronographs are valuable, a watch is more expensive if it has one. There are many complex chronographs and prices climb even higher due to their complexity.
