is there a difference in women's and males prisons?
Answer
It's a horrible place to be. The atmosphere is violent, hateful, stressful, and angry. There's this thing called "the Convict Code", which is basically unspoken prison rules that aren't given to a prisoner in the inmate handbook. New inmates are called fish. You stay with your race and do your own time. If there's an altercation, you have to fight, even if it's over something as petty as a napkin or a candy bar. There are lots of gangs that can put you on their hit list for no reason at all, and fights can break out at any given moment. The guards, for the most part, treat the inmates like crap. They have no respect for the prisoners. They let many fights go on, and they only intervene when things become too violent. They insult the inmates and see themselves as superior. They are rough and often take unnecessary measures to control inmates. Cells are frequently checked for contraband, and write-ups, which are disciplinary infractions, are often given for the slightest things. There are many ways to create, hide, and use weapons; it's kill or be killed in the environment that is prison. If you are a recognized gang member, a troublesome, violent inmate, or a prisoner that has received multiple write-ups, you will be placed in solitary confinement. It's where you're locked down by yourself for 23 hours every day. In prison, you get 10 minutes to shower. Inmates are generally given about fifteen to twenty minutes each day to eat their meals. The "prison food chain" is as followed, from highest to lowest: Serial killers + murderers --> robbers + burglars + auto thieves + arsonists --> drug dealers + people convicted of fraud --> child molesters + rapists + child abusers. The rapists and child molesters / abusers are often victims of attacks by other inmates, though everyone in prison gets beat up at one point or another. Even the inmates have a code of ethics, and it is that you don't kill, rape, molest, or hurt females and / or children. Convicts often flood their cells or bang on the doors and / or walls to disrupt / cause trouble to the correctional officers. There is a commissary in which you can purchase "luxury" items. If you have good behavior, you can get a job within the prison (like laundry, cook, maintenance, etc.) that pays a few cents an hour.
The higher the security level of the penitentiary a person is in, the more restrictions there are.
Overall, prison is awful. You should watch shows like Lockup on MSNBC; they really capture what a life in custody is like.

Answer
Dear,
TITANIC:
The "Film" on "Titanic ll" is a film. There was only "one" Titanic. The film was on "Titanic ll" based on the incident happened to the real Liner by the name of the "Titanic", The British Transatlantic Liner.
Both jack 'n' rose never exist. It's only creation for the film.
By the way, I like the THEME of the film and the Song, "My life will go on" Sung by 'C. Dion'. I love the song. I used to sing it with the CD.
The last living passenger survival in the incident of the Titanic in Apr. 14, 1912 a women living in England passed away at the aged of 91 years last month (November), 2007.
Here is the 'real situation' about the Titanic:
British transatlantic Liner, sunk in one history's greatest marine disasters. When she sailed on her maiden voyage in 1912, the 46,329-ton [Titanic] was the largest ship afloat. A beautiful vessel whose first-class accommodations were fitted out with unusual luxury and comfort, the [Titanic] also supposedly represented the last word in safety devices.
She sailed from Southampton on Apr. 10, 1912., with 1,310 passengers and 898 officers and crew. The passenger list on the maiden voyage ranged from hundreds of immigrants in steerage to many socially prominent figures.
Despite fog and wireless warnings of icebergs, the [Titanic] drove ahead at full speed. Suddenly, near mid-night on Apr. 14, she crashed into the underwater projection of an iceberg. Her watertight compartments should have kept her afloat indefinitely, but the freak accident had ripped the bottom out of several of them, and she sank in 2 and 1/2 hours. The sea was calm. There would have been time to take everyone off, but there were only enough lifeboats for a third of those on board. Another steamer was close at hand, but her wireless operator had turned in for the night. The doomed hundreds faced death bravely. Lifeboat space went to women and children first, though those in steerage did not have equal opportunity. Altogether, 1,503 live were lost. The disaster shocked the maritime nations into new provisions for safety at sea.
