Answer
I'd ignore that previous post. Though Hermes is a really expensive watch, you probably want some more quality for that price range!

You had the right idea with Patek and Audemars. Those two will always be on the top ten list. Most people would add Rolex, though I'd keep it off the list. I'm a huge fan of:

Patek Philippe (www.patek.com)
Audemars Piguet (www.audemarspiguet.com )
Richard Mille (www.richardmille.com/)
Frank Muller (www.franckmullerusa.com/)
Roger Dubois (www.rogerdubuis.com)
Delaneau (www.delaneau.com)--For women's watches!
Harry Winston (www.harry-winston.com)
A Lange and Soehne (www.alange-soehne.com/en/home/index.php)
Jaeger Le Coultre (www.jaeger-lecoultre.com )
Ulysse Nardin (www.ulysse-nardin.com)

Just my humble opinion. :)

What group of people who lived in the US were the worst treated (government and private citizens) ?

This would be from the beginning of the US government's history in 1776 to present.

I have my top five list but in no particular order:

Native Americans
African Americans
Orphans / Foster Children
Intersexuals / Hermaphrodites
Transsexuals / Transgenders

Rounding out to the top ten in random order would be:

Hispanics
Asians
Homosexuals
Disabled
Women

Notes: I was not sure if bi-sexual should be placed in their own category or with homosexuals.

I felt it was impossible to make a relative placement judgment with cross-dressers since this was a predominately closeted act unknown to even other cross-dressers until recently.

The treatment of inmates (asylum and prison) varied too much based on the background of the inmate, the time in history, and the specific incarcerating jurisdiction to make relative comparisons. For example: a Wall Street embezzler who goes to a private luxury prison made from the convict's own funds (notoriously known as Club Fed) and sold later by the convict for a major profit would not even be considered mistreated.

I would like this question be answered with lists preferably in ranked order. It is ok to make separate lists for government and private citizen mistreatment as well as different time periods.

Feel free to add or delete groups from my list.

Answer
Native Americans
-They're still getting screwed over and living in poverty.
Transsexuals
-People don't know what to think of them for the most part. They think it funny or weird.
Disabled
-It's hard for disabled people to get anywhere in life. They for the most part, live in poverty.
Women
-Women can't even get equal pay in places like Wal-Mart until 2050. Imagine the injustice everywhere else.
Ex-Addicts (like ex-alcoholics and drug addicts)
-Ex addicts get denied medical care and help because of their past whether it was 2 months or 20 years sober.

I did not include African-Americans because there is nothing holding them back and they have more than enough resources (more so than any other race) now. Plus America has a mixed president. Obviously, it's not as racist as people thought.
I did not include gays because gays have gotten a lot of exposure and it's becoming a pretty accepted thing.
I did not include inmates because if you broke the law, you deserve to do time. Inmates shouldn't be getting to sit around and do nothing but watch tv. Hard labor is the way.
I didn't include Orphans because that's really not something that's sure. It's a 50/50. It could be good or bad.
