Is this clip plain enough that even conservative right wingers can understand who is at fault for the credit crisis?

Watch it and tell us (honestly, if that is an option) if what happened has become clearer to you after viewing this.

An excellent reason why investment banking and consumer banking should be totally and forever separate.

Unless you did your homework when you bought your house during this period of time, you were most likely a victim of a shady deal. Just like the used car dealer who guarantees that the high-mileage clunker he just painted out back was previously owned by a little old lady who only drove it to church on Sundays. It didn't help that people were told that rising home prices were a sure guarantee that they could sell, and buy another palace in the same manner.

It also doesn't help that in communities like mine, the only homes that were built during the last 25 years were all luxury models, aimed at the upper middle class, and not the first-time home-buyer. But, first-time home-buyers were shown these extravagant homes, and were none the wiser.

I could feel the pressure when I was shopping for a home in 2002. After being shown 85 totally unsuitable houses, I finally did my own searching and found this one I now own: a 40 year old converted modular home on a half-acre.

First-time, or even second-time, home buyers should be required to attend several hours of homeowner counseling, but I don't see this happening soon because of the potential commission losses to those who benefit at the first step in the sales process: the real estate salesperson.

Im traveling to Ireland in october and im looking for the best guide book.?

I drove around it last Fall. The 3 best sources I found were Eyewitness Travel book for Ireland, Rick Steve's book, and the nets Tripadvisor Forum for Ireland.

I'll spare you the usually stated tips on driving in Ireland & cut right to it: DO NOT PACK YOUR DRIVING DAYS with too much or distances too far. Driving there has many challenges not to be underestimated. They all drive fast, even Grandmothers, & will be on your back bumper in no time (& I drive a Shelby Mustang :) The widest the shoulders get is 6 inches, & that's luxury. Usually you'll have bushes, bicyclists, sheep, & ladies pushing baby-carriages taking up your shoulder room. My rental car had HUGE dents & scrapes on the left side, then I drove around & saw why. Don't assume the brush on your left is just brush, it may be covering a rock wall. Roads frequently travel along at 80 kph/50 mph, then all of a sudden turn 90 degrees onto a narrow bridge. On rural & city roads you'll usually have 6 inches or less to pass. Be careful, many signs are removed, turned backward (by unruly kids?), or spray painted on. Be careful, but be gutsy.

Best parts: Staying on Aran Island, eating in pub there watching Football (Soccer), their amazing hospitality (sometimes)(but paper-thin B&B walls), biking around it to Dun Aengus in early morning; taking boat to Skellig Michael & hiking up, dolphins on the way; Seeing Celtic Ireland's historic stone circles, round forts, and burial places; lots & lots of driving out in the rural areas; sleeping in a castle; trying Guinness; staying in a beachfront B&B; Glenveagh Castle in the northwest; Irish B&B breakfasts & hospitality.

Runner-up hilights: Wicklow Mts south of Dublin, Rock of Cashel in central part, Castles (but don't try to see too many, there are TONS); Downtown Cobh, near Cork, is beautiful; Beaches in the northwest county; the way the passing Irish in each county wave differently...maybe 1 finger, or 2 fingers, or the full hand...each county is distinctive, but they all tease the thickly accented northwest Donegal county folks ;) ; Northern Ireland, because it's similar to the southern part, but very different too.

Disappointing: The Irish when they're driving or staying in the B&B room next door; Ring of Kerry is hyped up with few views, but some real nice views here & there, esp toward the western tip; Very few horses at Connemara Park, but a bujillion little biting flies (poor horses); Galway's unbelievably bad traffic.

Hope you love it. It's kinda bittersweet to me. Great aspects, but seriously challenging aspects too. Just don't pack your driving days too tight...and since you're not, don't get bothered by the tailgaters.

Email me if you have questions.
