A question for men about watches?

I'm looking to buy a new analog watch. I'm interested in the "higher end" (Movado, Omega, etc.) but I find it difficult to find good comparisons between the leading brands. I don't like gold and have no interest in Rolex. Also, I don't have any need for anything other than telling time. Suggestions?

What's a nice watch for men and women that would range between $250-$500...closer to the high end?

You can find a great Movado watch for about $450-$500. I actually bought one from Costco for $500 and it is very elegant and classy and of course is a Movado ;) If you have a Costco membership or you know someone who does don't miss the chance... Check it out... (I'm not a Costco owner hahaha)
